𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊! | The Sangguniang Kabataan officials from the different barangays of the Municipality of Glan proudly received their Certificates of Participation during the culmination of the SK GEMS Pre-Assessment and Writeshop held at East Asia Royale Hotel, General Santos City.

The two-day activity served as a platform for SK officials to strengthen their capabilities in leadership, governance, organizational effectiveness, financial administration, and development planning in preparation for the upcoming SK GEMS Evaluation.

The awarding ceremony recognized the dedication, cooperation, and commitment of every SK official who actively took part in the activity towards promoting responsive and effective youth governance in their respective barangays.

Congratulations to all SK Barangays of Glan! May this achievement inspire continuous growth, innovation, and genuine service for the youth and the community.

𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒 | Last day of the ADDENDUM TO THE CONDUCT OF PROVINCE-WIDE CAPACITY-BUILDING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO ENHANCE PERFORMANCE AND READINESS FOR THE SK GEMS EVALUATION at East Asia Royale Hotel, General Santos City.

As the two-day SK GEMS Pre-Assessment and Writeshop comes to a close, selected SK officials of the Municipality of Glan shared their valuable impressions and insights gained throughout the activity:

• Ms. Charry Jane P. Gampong - SK Secretary of Barangay Kapatan
• Ms. Mary Jan Repuelo - SK Treasurer of Barangay Calpidong

The activity officially conclude with the closing remarks of Ms. Fritzie Español, MLGOO of Glan.

May the learnings and experiences gained from this activity continue to guide and strengthen the commitment of every SK official towards effective, innovative, and accountable youth governance.

𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐍𝐎𝐖 | DAY 1 of ADDENDUM TO THE CONDUCT OF PROVINCE-WIDE CAPACITY-BUILDING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO ENHANCE PERFORMANCE AND READINESS FOR THE SK GEMS EVALUATION at East Asia Royale Hotel, General Santos City.

The activity gathered Sangguniang Kabataan officials of Glan for a meaningful learning engagement focused on strengthening leadership, governance, and preparedness for the upcoming SK GEMS Evaluation.

The activity also featured messages of support from Ms. Analyn Doceo, Outcome Manager of DILG Sarangani; Ms. Fritzie Español, MLGOO of Glan; Hon. Ruby Ann Terol, PPSK Glan; Hon. Johanna M. Ewag, PPSK President of Sarangani; and Mr. Jovencio Sentillas Jr., MYDO of Glan.

Featured topics and sessions during the first day of the activity were the following:

• Engr. Harriet S. Destacamento, CE, LGOO II / SK GEMS Focal Person of DILG Sarangani discussed the topics “Overview of GEMS for SK” and “Pillar 1: Organizational Effectiveness”

• Mr. Mark P. Negro, PYDC / GEMS-SK Assessor, discussed the topic “Pillar 4: Leadership and Innovativeness” and also facilitated the discussion on “Pillar 3: Development Planning”

• Ms. Guenette Marie Villanueva-Cordua, PACCO / GEMS-SK Assessor, discussed the topic “Pillar 2: Financial Administration”

May this initiative continue to inspire excellence, accountability, and genuine service among young public servants.

𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗢𝗪 | Five (5) out of the six (6) Sarangani Junior Officials aspirants from the Municipality of Glan paid a courtesy call to the Office of the Pambayang Pederasyon ng mga Sangguniang Kabataan (PPSK) today, May 4, 2026.

This visit is intended to present their project proposals aligned with their chosen advocacies, showcasing their commitment to youth development and community service.

The PPSK Office invited Sarangani Junior Officials alumnus, Mr. Charry Eden Lipay, to share his insights, experiences, and valuable advice to guide the aspirants in their journey.

Hon. Ruby Ann D. Terol, LPT, extended a warm welcome to the aspiring youth leaders, encouraging them to continue striving for excellence and active participation in governance.
