Ang karangalang ito ay patunay ng inyong walang sawang dedikasyon, husay, at malasakit sa pagpapaunlad ng sektor ng agrikultura at pangisdaan at sa patuloy na pagseserbisyo sa mga magsasaka sa inyong nasasakupan. Nawa’y magsilbi itong inspirasyon upang lalo pang palakasin ang mga programang makatutulong sa kaunlaran ng ating mga komunidad.

In celebration of the 52nd Founding Anniversary, it’s time to honor and celebrate our hardworking farmers.

The Office of the Provincial Veterinarian – Maguindanao del Sur is also offering FREE services, including:

- Deworming

- Spay/Neuter

- Anti-rabies vaccination

- Pet vitamins

Pag-unlad ng Agrikultura sa Datu Paglas: Masiglang Pagtugon ng mga Magsasaka sa Tulong ng JICA at Lokal na Suporta

Isang nakakagalak na pagbabago ang nasasaksihan ngayon sa sektor ng agrikultura sa Datu Paglas, Maguindanao del Sur, kung saan patuloy na lumalaki ang interes at partisipasyon ng mga magsasaka ng gulay. Ang masiglang pag-usbong na ito ay nagsimula kasabay ng pagpapatupad ng SmallHolder Empowerment Program (SHEP) ng Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

Masayang Paglalakbay at Pagsasama-sama:
Makikita ang kasiglahan at kasiyahan sa mga mukha ng mga magsasaka mula sa Barangay Makat, patungo sa Puya, at hanggang sa Mangadeg. Higit silang naging inspirado at masaya dahil sa aktibong presensiya at suporta mula sa Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR) ng Datu Paglas.

Mga Bunga ng Pagsisikap at Mataas na Demand:

* Ampalaya (Bitter Gourd): Malaking porsyento ng atensyon ang nakatuon sa pagtatanim ng ampalaya. Napakalaki ng demand nito, lalo na sa Merkado ng Bansalan, Davao del Sur. Dahil sa malaking benta, patuloy ang mga magsasaka sa masikhay na pagtatanim nito, tinitiyak ang tuloy-tuloy na suplay at kita.

* Sili Green (Green Chili) at Talong (Eggplant):

Sa Barangay Makat, patuloy na umaani ng kita ang mga magsasaka sa kanilang pagtatanim ng Sili Green. Samantala, ang mga magsasaka naman sa Mangadeg ay patuloy na nakapagbibigay ng sapat na kita para sa kanilang pamilya sa pamamagitan ng pagtatanim ng talong.

Ang tagumpay na ito ay matibay na patunay ng epektibong pagtutulungan. Ito ay bunga ng aktibo at walang-sawang suporta mula sa Local Government Unit (LGU) ng Datu Paglas, MAFAR Provincial Office, MAFAR Regional Office, at siyempre, ang pangunahing tulong teknikal at pangkabuhayan mula sa JICA.
Ang kasalukuyang sitwasyon ay nagpapakita na ang pinagsamang suporta ng internasyonal at lokal na ahensya ay susi sa pagpapalakas ng kabuhayan ng mga magsasaka at pagpapaunlad ng agrikultura sa rehiyon.

Bumuo tayo ng Technical Working Group (TWG) na kinabibilangan ng City and Municipal Mayors, Barangay officials, City and Municipal Agricultural Officers at NFA representatives. 📌Prayoridad ang siguraduhin na makarating sa ating mga farmers ang mga benepisyong nararapat para sakanila mula sa NFA. 📌Ang pangunahing target ay ang smallhold farmers o mga magsasakang tanging pagtanim lang ang inaasahang kabuhayan. 📌Ang pagtukoy sa mga smallhold farmers ay itinalaga sa mga City and Municipal Mayors at kanilang Agricultural Officers na sya na ring inatasahang magsumite ng opisyal na listahan sa NFA. #SerbisyongTagos #12thSangguniangPanlalawigan #ProvinceofIsabela

Oct. 9, 2025_Animal Health Services and Animal Health Training in Barangay Lomoyon, Datu Paglas was successfully implemented. The program is fully funded by the Local Government of Datu Paglas. The total benefuciaries almost 100 livestock owner happily thank MAFAR Datu Paglas and LGU Datu Paglas.

Safar 11, 1447 | August , 2025___Datu Paglas – In a recent effort to boost animal health and productivity, MAFAR Datu Paglas and veterinary teams conducted a large-scale deworming and vitamin supplementation campaign targeting cows, goats, and carabaos (water buffaloes) across the municipality. The initiative, which provided free doses of albendazole—a broad-spectrum dewormer—and essential vitamins, has been met with enthusiasm from farmers, with one recipient calling it a “lifesaver” for their livestock.

Deworming and Vital Nutrients for Healthier Herds
The campaign, organized by the MAFAR Datu Paglas in partnership with Office of Provincial Veterinary of Maguindanao del Sur, aimed to combat parasitic infections and malnutrition, common issues that hinder growth and milk production in livestock. Albendazole effectively treats internal parasites like roundworms and tapeworms, while vitamin supplements strengthen immunity and improve overall vitality in animals.

Grateful Farmer Shares Success Story
Among the beneficiaries was Dhemri Usman livestoct owner and , a vegetable farmer from Makat, who praised the program after noticing immediate improvements in his goats and carabao. “we hope my animals will become active now, and their will coats will look healthier,” he said. “This service saves us money on medicines and gives us peace of mind. Our livestock are our livelihood—keeping them healthy means better income for our family.”

The initiative also included short educational sessions on proper animal care, emphasizing the importance of regular deworming and balanced nutrition.

Successful Artificial Insemination (AI) Activity in Datu Paglas!

Hundreds of goats, carabaos, and cows in Barangays Mangadeg, Mao, Bunawan, and Klaumenga benefited from a recent Artificial Insemination activity. The activity was led by the Office of the Provincial Veterinary of Maguindanao del Sur Province, with the assistance of MAFAR Datu Paglas. This initiative is boosting livestock productivity in our municipality!
