The 60th Regular Session of the 19th Sangguniang Bayan of Governor Generoso was successfully convened under the leadership of Hon. Xz May "Pinky" P. Inojales, Vice Mayor and Presiding Officer.

Before the session, the Sangguniang Bayan officials turned-over the financial assistance to fire victims of Barangay Tibanban through the Sangguniang Bayan's Crisis Intervention Fund.

During the session, the Legislative Council deliberated on proposed ordinances, resolutions, and other legislative measures aimed at promoting responsive governance, strengthening local policies, and advancing the welfare of the people of Governor Generoso.

The Sangguniang Bayan of Governor Generoso conducted a Public Hearing on August 11, 2026, at the New Municipal Gymnasium.

The hearing provided an avenue for concerned individuals, organizations, and stakeholders to share their views, concerns, and recommendations on proposed municipal ordinances concerning important matters of public interest, including:

โ€ข Rules and procedures in administrative cases against elective barangay officials before the Sangguniang Bayan;
โ€ข Regulation of videoke machines and other amplified audio devices within the Municipality;
โ€ข Prohibition of drinking liquor and intoxicating beverages in public places;
โ€ข Prohibition of being topless or half-naked in public places; and
โ€ข Imposition of curfew hours for minors within the Municipality.

Through public consultation and open dialogue, the Sangguniang Bayan recognizes the importance of hearing the voices of the community in the formulation of local policies. The insights and recommendations gathered during the hearing will help guide the Sanggunian in crafting responsive, practical, and inclusive legislation for the municipality.

The Sangguniang Bayan of Governor Generoso convened for a Special Session, presided over by Temporary Presiding Officer, Hon. Carlo Makiling, with the members of the Sanggunian coming together to address matters requiring timely discussion and legislative action.

The session served as a venue for the Sanggunian to deliberate on important concerns, review matters presented before the body, and ensure that appropriate actions are taken in accordance with its legislative responsibilities.

Through these sessions, the Sangguniang Bayan continues to uphold its commitment to responsible legislation, meaningful deliberation, and responsive public service for the people of Governor Generoso.
