Personnel of this jail unit actively participated in the Kick-Off Program of Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Dr. Ramon De Santos National High School and Cuyapo West Central School. Together with fellow government agencies, parents, students, and teachers, our personnel joined the clean-up and maintenance activities in preparation for the opening of School Year 2026โ2027.
This collective effort reflects the spirit of bayanihan and shared responsibility in creating a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for learners. Brigada Eskwela serves as a reminder that quality education is not only the responsibility of schools but also of the entire community working together for the success of every student.

The last Friday Mass for this month was conducted at this jail unit by Fr. Renz Valente, with the participation of 40 male PDL and WD personnel. The Holy Mass became a moment of reflection and spiritual renewal for everyone present. The homily emphasized the importance of going closer to God and strengthening oneโs prayer life. It served as a reminder that prayer is a powerful source of hope, guidance, and inner strength in every situation.

This meaningful observance serves as a reminder of the courage and sacrifices of our heroes who fought for the liberty we enjoy today. Through this activity, personnel reaffirmed their commitment to uphold nationalism, public service, and love for country.

Under the leadership of ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ญ ๐๐๐ข๐ฅ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐๐ง, this jail unit participated in the MOA Signing and Soft Launch of PhilHealth GAMOT for District I of Nueva Ecija together with the Local Health Insurance Office (LHIO) โ Gapan City spearheaded by ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐จ ๐. ๐๐ซ๐๐๐๐ข๐, ๐๐ก๐ข๐๐ ๐๐จ๐๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐๐ง๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ข๐๐๐ซ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ง.
The activity gathered Municipal Administrators, PhilHealth Officers, LGUs, various municipal offices such as PDAO, OSCA, Solo Parent Office, MSWDO, OPAPRU, PNP, AFP, YAKAP Providers, GAMOT Providers, as well as doctors and nurses from District I of Nueva Ecija.
This initiative aims to strengthen partnership and coordination among hospitals, clinics, drugstores, and government agencies to provide accessible, quality, and unified healthcare services for every Filipino citizen. Together, we continue building a healthier and more responsive community through collaboration and public service.

Today, this jail unit successfully conducted a Medical Mission through the generous assistance of Guimba Community Hospital headed by ๐๐ซ. ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐๐ฅ ๐. ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ, ๐๐๐๐ข๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ข๐๐๐ซ ๐๐, together with the GCH YAKAP Team and dedicated nurses.
The activity was spearheaded by ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ญ ๐๐๐ข๐ฅ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐๐ง and JO2 Elmer Mendoza, Jail Nurse, in line with the continuing commitment to promote the health and welfare of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).
During the activity, PDL received medical consultations, free medicines, and assistance in registering to the YAKAP Program under Guimba Community Hospital as their chosen YAKAP as Certified Hospital.
We extend our sincerest gratitude and appreciation to Guimba Community Hospital, Dr. Tantingco, and the entire medical team for their compassion, dedication, and unwavering support in providing accessible healthcare services to our 28 PDL. Your kindness and commitment truly make a meaningful difference in improving their health and well-being.

Strengthening access to healthcare services for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) through the PhilHealth YAKAP Caravan Information Drive and Registration conducted today at this jail unit.
The activity was spearheaded by ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ญ ๐๐๐ข๐ฅ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐๐ง, together with ๐๐1 ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐
. ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ณ, ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฉ๐๐๐ฌ๐ค ๐๐๐๐ข๐๐๐ซ, in coordination with Sir ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐จ ๐. ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ง๐๐ข๐, ๐๐ก๐ข๐๐ ๐๐จ๐๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐๐ง๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ข๐๐๐ซ from the Local Health Insurance Office โ Gapan City, and his team.
A total of 61 PDL were successfully registered to PhilHealth and the YAKAP Program, while 26 PDL were able to reprint their PhilHealth IDs during the activity.
This initiative highlights the importance of ensuring that PDL are given proper access to healthcare benefits and social protection services. Through programs like PhilHealth YAKAP, we continue to uphold the welfare, dignity, and well-being of every individual under our care.

Today, this jail unit was blessed through a meaningful Gift Giving, Feeding Program, and Sharing of the Word of God activity conducted by The ARK in partnership with the Welfare and Development (WD) personnel, together with the support of ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ญ ๐๐๐ข๐ฅ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐๐ง.
The activity brought not only meals and gifts to the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL), but also hope, encouragement, and reminders of faith and compassion. Through simple acts of kindness and fellowship, the PDL were reminded that they are not forgotten and that there are still people willing to share love, care, and Godโs message with them.

Today, a successful TB Mass Screening was conducted at RCG Premier Foundation Inc. for 165 male and 10 female PDL of Guimba District Jail. The activity was made possible through the efforts of JO3 Klean V Kimayong, Jail Nurse, together with the assistance of custodial and admin personnel who ensured the smooth flow of the activity from start to finish.
This initiative highlights the importance of early detection, proper healthcare, and continuous medical support inside the facility. Through teamwork and compassion, we continue to promote the welfare and well-being of every PDL.
Because at the end of the day, we continue to care for PDLโeven behind bars.
