In a united stand against violence, the MSWD Office spearheaded a meaningful gathering in support of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women. Graced by our esteemed guest, Hon. Remedios Agapito, Sangguniang Bayan Chairperson on Women and Family Relations, the event strengthened our commitment to creating a safer, more empowered community for all women and girls.
Led by Ms. Maria Elaine E. Labasan (MSWDO) and Ms. Dimple Anne Padala (SWO III), the program brought together Barangay VAWC Desk Officers and KALIPI Officers for a day of advocacy, solidarity, and action.
The event featured a solemn Candle Lighting Ceremony, followed by an engaging Plenary Session that deepened participants’ understanding of the importance of ending VAW. Participants also joined the empowering One Billion Rising Dance Challenge, symbolizing unity and collective action. The program concluded with the Awarding of Certificates and distribution of Token of Appreciation to VAWC Desk Officers and KALIPI Officers in recognition of their unwavering dedication.
Together, we rise, we empower, and we commit to ending VAW - Stop VAW, Look beyond the silence, and Listen with compassion. 💜✨

This year’s Children’s Congress stands as a celebration of the limitless potential, creativity, and resilience of Guimba’s young learners. More than a gathering, it serves as a meaningful platform where children are given the opportunity to be heard, to learn, and to shine.
