πππππ ππππππ, πππππππ πππππππππππ!
The Municipality of Guimbal, spearheaded by the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), joined the International Coastal Cleanup Day in partnership with the Province-wide Clean-Up Campaign.
The activity brought together local government offices, Guimbal PNP, Guimbal BFP , Coast Guard Guimbal Substation, barangays volunteers, and community stakeholders in a collective effort to protect our coastline, at Barangay Bongol San Vicente or the Guibuangan to reduce marine pollution, and keep our seas and waterways free from waste.
A total of 10 sacks recyclables and 15 sacks residuals drifter garbage/trash were collected during the activity.
More than just a clean-up, this initiative reminds us that every piece of waste removed from our shores helps protect marine life, preserve our coastal resources, and create a cleaner and healthier environment for future generations.
Together, letβs keep Guimbalβs shores clean, our seas protected, and our community environmentally responsible.
