𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦|| 𝗖𝗢𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗡 𝗨𝗣 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚
On May 25, 2026, the dedicated personnel of the Guiuan District Jail under the guidance and supervision of 𝐉𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐅 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐎𝐍, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, 𝐉𝐃, Regional Director of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Regional Office VIII (BJMPRO-VIII), and under the leadership of SJO2 Delfonso L Macasojot, Acting Jail Warden, conducted a Coastal Clean-Up and Plant Monitoring Activity at Boro-Boro Beach, located in Barangay Pagnamitan, Guiuan.
The activity aimed to promote environmental protection, strengthen coastal conservation efforts, and ensure the healthy growth of planted vegetation along the shoreline. Personnel worked hand in hand to collect and properly dispose of scattered waste materials such as plastic debris, driftwood, and other non-biodegradable trash that may harm marine life and disrupt the natural beauty of the beach.
In addition to the clean-up drive, the team conducted plant monitoring to assess the condition and growth of previously planted coastal vegetation. These plants play a vital role in preventing soil erosion, protecting the shoreline from storm surges, and enhancing biodiversity in the area. The monitoring activity allowed the team to evaluate plant survival rates, identify areas needing replanting, and ensure that the coastal ecosystem remains resilient and sustainable.
Through this initiative, the Guiuan DJ Personnel reaffirmed their commitment to environmental stewardship and community service. Their efforts reflect a continued dedication to preserving the natural resources of Guiuan and fostering a cleaner, greener, and safer coastal environment for present and future generations.

VALUES RESTORATION PROGRAM - "PRAYFULNESS" WEEK 21

With the theme “Prayfulness” means quality of being spiritually aware, reflective, and devoted through sincere prayer, gratitude, humility, and a connection to something greater than oneself. The concept of Prayfulness was thoughtfully defined and discussed by JO1 Alaiza Mae A Baris (Personnel Records Officer), highlighting Prayfulness is the spiritual awareness, sincere devotion, gratitude, humility, inner peace, compassion, and a deep connection with something greater than oneself.

(May 25, 2026) – The Guiuan District Jail, under the leadership of SJO2 Delfonso L Macasojot, participated in the Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony held at the Municipal Grounds of Guiuan.
This activity highlights the Jail Bureau’s unwavering, steadfast commitment to promoting unity, patriotism, and excellence in public service. Joining fellow public servants from various government offices, jail personnel reaffirmed their dedication to discipline, teamwork, and accountability in carrying out their mandates.
Through sustained involvement in community and inter-agency activities, the Guiuan District Jail continues to strengthen its collaboration with the Municipal Government of Guiuan and partner agencies, fostering a unified approach toward maintaining peace and order and advancing community development.

𝗜𝗻 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝘀|| Guiuan District Jail under the guidance and Supervision of 𝐉𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐅 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐎𝐍, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, 𝐉𝐃, 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐉𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐮 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐕𝐈𝐈𝐈 (𝐁𝐉𝐌𝐏𝐑𝐎-𝐕𝐈𝐈𝐈) and under the leadership of SJO2 Delfonso L Macasojot, Selected personnel of Guiuan DJ conducted an Information Drive and IEC materials distribution to the client transacting in Guiuan Municipal Hall.
During the activity, the students learned about:
✨ ELCAC and P/CVE under EO 70 — understanding how the government works to end local armed conflict and prevent violent extremism.
✨ The National Amnesty Commission — what amnesty is, how it works, and its role in restoring peace.
✨ Anti-illegal drugs awareness — encouraging the youth to stay away from harmful substances.
✨ Anti-smoking advocacy — showing the real, often devastating, effects of smoking on one’s life and loved ones.
✨ Distribution and orientation of BJMP programs — introducing students to various programs of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) aimed at rehabilitation, community involvement, and youth awareness.
The activity sparked meaningful conversations with the students, who were eager to learn and ask questions about current issues affecting peace, security, and health in the country.
Through these continuous efforts, the Guiuan District Jail reaffirms its commitment not only to custodial work but also to educating and uplifting the community, especially the youth—our future leaders.

With the theme “Political Neutrality” means staying impartial toward political groups or ideas and treating all sides fairly without favoritism. The concept of Political Neutrality was thoughtfully defined and discussed by JO1 Benjie P Paule (Custodial Officer), highlighting treating different viewpoints consistently, avoiding partisan favoritism, and making decisions based on rules, evidence, or law rather than political loyalty.

The concept of Harmonious was thoughtfully defined and discussed by JO1 Justito B Guiuan Jr (Custodial Officer), highlighting the ability to think of new ideas and use them to improve or solve problems effectively.
