Activity is in support to the anti-criminality of the PNP through police visibility and sincere police presence to deter criminals and other lawless elements in commiting crimes and make public feel a sence of security.

Guiuan Police Arrest Wanted Person for Violation of Anti-violence against Women and their Children Act of 2004 (R.A. 9262)

Guiuan, Eastern Samar- In its anti-criminality campaign, the joint operatives led by Guiuan Municipal Station successfully arrested a wanted person for Violation of Anti-violence against Women and their Children Act of 2004 (5(H) of R.A. 9262) in Brgy. 9-A Guiuan Eastern, Samar on August 1, 2024 at about 10:35 AM.

Operatives arrested the accused, a 19 years old , male, single, student and a resident of Guiuan, Eastern Samar.

Accordingly, the apprehension of the accused was based on a warrant of arrest dated July 25, 2024, for Violation of Anti-violence against Women and their Children Act of 2004 (5(H) of R.A. 9262) with criminal case number 3281 issued by Hon. Angelo M Raagas, Acting Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 8th Judicial Region, Branch 3, Guiuan, Eastern Samar with Seventy Two Thousand Pesos (Php72,000.00) bail for his temporary liberty.

Joining the operation were elements from Eastern Samar Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) and 2nd Eastern Samar Provincial Mobile Force Company (ESPMFC) with the active participation of advocacy group.

During the operation, the accused was informed of his constitutional rights in a dialect understood by him and was brought to Guiuan MPS for documentation before turnover to the court of origin.

Guiuan MPS urged by their Officer In-Charge to continue the commitment to serve Guiuananons with utmost dedication in the fight against all forms of criminalities.

Guiuan Police Arrest Region 8's 2nd Most Wanted Person

Guiuan, Eastern Samar- In its anti-criminality campaign, the joint operatives led by the Guiuan Municipal Station successfully arrested the 2nd Most Wanted Person in Eastern Visayas for Violation of New Anti-carnapping Act of 2016 (RA 10883) in Guiuan Eastern, Samar on July 26, 2024 at about 1:10 PM.

Operatives arrested the accused, known alias “Rommy”, at 21 year-old, fisherman, with live-in partner residing in Guiuan, Eastern Samar he is also listed as the town’s 7th Most Wanted person.

Accordingly, the apprehension of the accused was based on a warrant of arrest dated July 17, 2024, for Violation of New Anti-carnapping Act of 2016 (RA 10883) with criminal case number 3274 issued by Hon. Angelo M Raagas, Acting Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 8th Judicial Region, Branch 3, Guiuan, Eastern Samar with Php300,000.00 bail for his temporary liberty.

Joining the operation were elements from Eastern Samar Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), 2nd Eastern Samar Provincial Mobile Force Company (ESPMFC), Highway Patrol Team (HPT) and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) with the active participation of advocacy group.

Guiuan, Eastern Samar- In its anti-criminality campaign, the joint operatives led by Guiuan Municipal Station successfully arrested a wanted person for Violation of Illegal Fishing/ Philippine Fisheries Code of 1998 (Sec 126 of RA 8550) in Brgy. 9-A Guiuan Eastern, Samar on July 26, 2024 at about 11:45 AM.

Operatives arrested the accused, a 36 years old, male, married, fish dealer,and resident of Brgy. 9, Guiuan, Eastern Samar.

Accordingly, the apprehension of the accused was based on a warrant of arrest dated July 25, 2024, for Violation of Illegal Fishing/ Philippine Fisheries Code of 1998 (Sec 126 of RA 8550) with criminal case number 2024-07G-1834 issued by Hon. Clara A Baquilod, Acting Presiding Judge, Municipal Circuit Trial Court, 8th Judicial Region, Branch 3, Guiuan-Mercedes, Eastern Samar with Php10,000.00 bail for his temporary liberty.

Joining the operation were elements from Eastern Samar Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) and 2nd Eastern Samar Provincial Mobile Force Company (ESPMFC) with the active participation of advocacy group.

Guiuan, Eastern Samar- In its anti-criminality campaign, the joint operatives led by Guiuan Municipal Station successfully arrested a top 6 most wanted person(Municipal Level) for Violation of R.A. 10591 (Comprehensive Fi****ms and Ammunition Regulation Act) in Brgy. 9-A Guiuan Eastern, Samar on July 22, 2024 at about 9:45 AM.

Operatives arrested the accused, a 46 years old, male, single, tricycle driver and a resident of Brgy. Lupok, Guiuan, Eastern Samar.

Accordingly, the apprehension of the accused was based on a warrant of arrest dated July 9, 2024, for Violation of Sec. 28 Article V RA10591 with criminal case number 3267 issued by Hon. Angelo M Raagas, Acting Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 8th Judicial Region, Branch 3, Guiuan, Eastern Samar with Php100,000.00 recommended bail bond for his temporary liberty.

Joining the operation were elements from Eastern Samar Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) and 2nd Eastern Samar Provincial Mobile Force Company (ESPMFC) with the active participation of advocacy group.

Guiuan, Eastern Samar- In its anti-criminality campaign, the joint operatives led by Guiuan Municipal Station successfully arrested a wanted person for the Violation of P.D. 1602 in Brgy. 9-A Guiuan Eastern, Samar on July 22, 2024 at about 9:45 AM.

Operatives arrested the accused, a 44 years old, male, single, tricycle driver and a resident of Brgy. 4A, Guiuan, Eastern Samar.

Accordingly, the apprehension of the accused was based on a warrant of arrest dated June 26, 2024, for Violation of PD 1602 with criminal case number 2024-06G-1828 issued by Hon. Clara A Baquilod, Acting Presiding Judge, Seventh (7th) Municipal Circuit Trial Court, 8th Judicial Region, Guiuan-Mercedes, Guiuan, Eastern Samar with Php5,000.00 recommended bail bond for her temporary liberty.

Joining the operation were elements from Eastern Samar Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) and 2nd Eastern Samar Provincial Mobile Force Company (ESPMFC) with the active participation of advocacy group.

During the operation, the accused was informed of his constitutional rights in a dialect understood by him and was brought to Guiuan MPS for documentation before turnover to the court of origin.
