The Community Development Center for Children and Youth (CDCCY) of Brgy. Bungtod, Guiuan, Eastern Samar is now OPEN FOR REGISTRATION for Short Lectures and Peer Tutoring Program – 2026! 🎉

This program aims to support the learning and holistic development of children and youth through free educational activities such as Basic Mathematics, English Literacy, Computer Literacy, Environmental Science, Coastal Resource Management, and Philippine History.

📍 Who can enroll: Bonafide Bungtodranon learners

Local Youth Development Office-Guiuan & Pambayang Pederasyon ng Sangguniang Kabataan ng Guiuan joins the celebration of International Youth Day and Linggo ng Kabataan 2024

A successful conduct of KK Assembly held in Barangay Banaag, Manicani Island.

A Katipunan ng Kabataan Assembly was successfully conducted held on June 21, 2024 spearheaded by Hon. Judy Ann Yakit and her council. Hon. Yakit presented the approved ABYIP to the KK Members as well as their accomplishments from their assumptiom into office.

In addition, Local Youth Development Officer - Designate Mr. Jayson Abrajano was invited to provide technical assistance during the course of the activity and discussed the legal basis and relevance of the conduct of such.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. Buenavista, Manicani Island successfully concluded its 1st KK Assembly 2024.

The activity was presided by the able leadership of SK Chairwoman Juliena Caadan and her council. Highlights of the event was the presentation of their ABYIP 2024 and the election of KK Officers.

Moreover, Local Youth Development Officer - Designate Mr. Jayson Abrajano discussed the legal basis and relevance of the conduct of the assembly and assured a more youthful collaboration ahead.

Congratulations to Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines Inc. - Kansas Chapter as a newly registered Youth Organization in the Municipality of Guiuan, Eastern Samarar under the Youth Organization Registration Program - YORPstration Program - YORP of the National Youth Commissionsion.

As a registered organization you are now entitled to all the rights and privileges prescribed by existing NYC Resolutions.

Congratulations to KKDAT Cagdara-o Guiuan Chapter as a newly registered Youth Organization in the Municipality of Guiuan, Eastern Samar under the Youth Organization Registration Program - YORP of the National Youth Commission.

As a registered organization you are now entitled to all the rights and privileges prescribed by existing NYC Resolutions.

The Office of the Local Youth Development scores an almost perfect assessment result based on DILGS Indicators during the Seal of Good Local Governance validation last May 24, 2023.

The assessment is conducted in order to ensures the LGU commitment for progress and good governance in all areas of services.
