FACT CHECK | FIRE TRUCKS AND FIRE TRIKES: KNOW THE DIFFERENCE

Fire response vehicles come in different types and capacities, each designed to serve specific operational needs.

🚒 BFP Fire Trucks are procured and operated by the Bureau of Fire Protection, with varying capacities and capabilities depending on operational requirements.

🛺 LGU Fire Trikes, on the other hand, are initiatives of Local Government Units intended to augment and support BFP firefighters, particularly in communities where access and mobility may be challenging.

Understanding the difference helps promote accurate information and a better appreciation of how BFP and LGUs work together to enhance fire response and public safety.

MORAL AND SPIRITUAL UPLIFTMENT ACTIVITY
📖🙏

The Gutalac Municipal Fire Station, led by SFO3 Romeo A Pujanes, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, conducted a Moral and Spiritual Upliftment Activity on October 5, 2026, as part of its continuing efforts to promote the moral and spiritual well-being of its personnel.

The activity aimed to strengthen the values, discipline, and faith of BFP personnel, recognizing these as essential foundations in fulfilling their duties and responsibilities in public service.

Pastor Sardan L. Ragonio of Shiloh Baptist Church served as the speaker and spiritual leader during the activity. He shared a meaningful message based on 1 Corinthians 12:1–18, emphasizing the importance of unity, service, and the unique role of every individual in contributing to a greater purpose.

Through activities such as this, the Gutalac Municipal Fire Station continues to encourage its personnel to grow not only in their professional responsibilities but also in character, faith, and commitment to serving the community.

“There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them.”
— 1 Corinthians 12:4
