Hugot nga GINADILI ANG PAGSUNOG sa mga basura, apil na ang mga uga nga dahon, plastik, ug goma (open burning), ubos sa Anti-Burning Law sa Pilipinas, ilabi na ang Republic Act 9003 (Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000) ug RA 8749 (Clean Air Act of 1999).�

Ang kinsa mang masakpan nga mosupak niining nasudnong balaod mahimong pamultahon og ₱300 hangtod ₱1,000, o mabilanggo sulod sa 1 hangtod 15 ka adlaw (adunay mas bug-at nga silot kon makadaot ang aso). Gidili ang pagsunog aron malikayan ang mga sunog, maprotektahan ang atong panglawas, ug mapanindot ang atong kalikopan.�

🌾 PARA SA MGA MAG-UUMA UG RESIDENTE SA HILONGOS: ��

Dugang pa niini, subay sa Municipal Ordinance No. 2020-18 sa Hilongos, hugot usab nga gidili ang pagsunog sa mga "uhot sa humay" (rice straws) sulod sa atong munisipalidad.
Ang mga silot sa paglapas niining lokal nga ordinansa mao ang mosunod:
* Unang Kalapasan (1st Offense): ₱200 nga multa.
* Ikaduhang Kalapasan (2nd Offense): ₱500 nga multa.
* Ikatulong Kalapasan (3rd Offense): ₱1,000 nga multa.
* Sunod-sunod nga Kalapasan sa Indibidwal: ₱2,000 nga multa.
* Para sa mga Negosyo/Establisamento (Juridical Entity): ₱2,000 nga multa ug pag-kanselar sa Business Permit.

�Palihug tumanon nato kini nga mga balaod ug ipahibalo sa atong mga silingan.

Successful Bundling of Wires and Removal of Dead Wires

The General Service Unit, under the Office of the Mayor and headed by Mr. Alfred "Prince" Aldave III, GSO-Designate, successfully conducted another round of wire bundling and removal of dead wires this morning, August 7, 2026, in the vicinity of Metro Supermarket, as part of the municipality's continuing efforts to maintain safe, organized, and clutter-free utility lines.

The activity was carried out in coordination with Globe Telecom and various P2P internet service providers, whose continued cooperation and commitment greatly contributed to the success of the operation. Through this collaborative effort, hazardous dangling and inactive wires were properly removed and organized, enhancing public safety and improving the overall appearance of the area.

This undertaking forms part of the continuing Anti-Dangling Wire Clean-Up Drive, in support of Oplan Kaayusan sa Hilongos (OK sa Hilongos)—a program supported and led by our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Manuel “Lin-lin” Villahermosa, with the shared goal of creating a safer, cleaner, and more livable municipality.

GENERAL SERVICES UNIT (GSU) | 2nd Personnel Meeting 2026

The General Services Unit (GSU), headed by Mr. Alfred A. Aldave III, successfully conducted its 2nd Personnel Meeting for CY 2026 on July 24, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the 3rd Floor Function Room, Municipal Hall.

The meeting served as an avenue to reaffirm the vision, goals, and in the assigned work areas of every personnel, clarify their respective duties and responsibilities under the General Services Unit, and discuss other important matters concerning the efficient delivery of public service.

Through continuous communication, coordination, and teamwork, the GSU remains committed to strengthening its workforce and ensuring that every personnel carries out their responsibilities with accountability, discipline, and dedication in serving the people of Hilongos.
