Hinatuan Central Fire Station personnel, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐉𝐄𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐄 𝐓 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐍𝐎, Officer-in-Charge of BFP Caraga Region, and the supervision of 𝐅𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐘 𝐉𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐓 𝐘𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐊𝐄𝐄-𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐙, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, spearheaded by 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟐 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐆𝐢𝐥 𝐀 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐨, Officer-In-Charge together with the Hinatuan Fire Substation personnel under the command of 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟐 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧 𝐌 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐜𝐚𝐚𝐠, Sub-Station Commander, took part in the Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick-Off Ceremony.

The activity was conducted under the theme “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman,” highlighting the collective commitment of government agencies, community stakeholders, parents, teachers, and volunteers in preparing schools for the opening of classes. In support of this initiative, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) actively participated by conducting fire safety inspections, hazard assessments, and awareness campaigns within school premises. These efforts aimed to identify and address potential fire risks, promote disaster preparedness, and ensure that learning institutions provide a secure, resilient, and conducive environment for both educators and students. Through its continued involvement in Brigada Eskwela, the BFP reaffirms its dedication to protecting lives and property while fostering a culture of safety and preparedness in the educational community.

In a proactive effort to bolster operational resilience and emotional well-being, personnel from the Hinatuan Fire Station participated in a comprehensive Mental Health Awareness Seminar and Psychological First Aid (PFA) Training. The session equipped first responders with the critical tools necessary to identify psychological distress and provide immediate, compassionate support to both colleagues and community members during high-stress emergencies. By integrating these mental health strategies into their professional toolkit, the team continues to strengthen its holistic approach to public service and disaster response.
