Class Suspension in Public Schools Across Negros Occidental on October 5, 2026, for World Teachers’ Day

Governor Eugenio Jose V. Lacson has issued Executive Order No. 26-27, Series of 2026, ordering the suspension of classes at all levels in public schools under the school districts within the Province of Negros Occidental on Monday, October 5, 2026.

The order comes in observance of National Teachers’ Day and World Teachers’ Day.

Last September 21, we signed a Memorandum of Agreement — 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗹𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻, between Central Philippine State University – Hinigaran Campus and LGU Hinigaran through the LDRRMC, strengthening our partnership in disaster preparedness, community safety, and public awareness.

Through this partnership, we can work together to prepare, educate, and protect our people — before, during, and after disasters.
