🕊️ BEYOND THE UNIFORM, A LIFE REMEMBERED
Some farewells are never easy, especially when we lose someone who has been part of our everyday lives. No words can fully express the sadness of losing a colleague, a friend, and someone who shared in our journey of public service. What remains are the memories, the moments we shared, and the gratitude for having known someone whose life became part of our own.
The Public Order and Safety Management Office (POSMO), City Government of Ilagan, joins in mourning the passing of Rostum “Dudu” Paddayuman, our fellow public servant, cherished colleague, and dear friend. His passing leaves a void in our office and in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him.
Dudu was more than the uniform he wore and the responsibilities he carried. He was part of our daily lives, our shared experiences, and our story as a team. His service, the kindness he shared, and the memories he leaves behind will remain with us long after our days of working together have ended. Though we can no longer see him standing beside us, the impact of his life and the place he holds in our hearts will never be forgotten.
As Proverbs 10:7 reminds us, “The memory of the righteous is a blessing.” May Dudu's life and the good he shared continue to be a source of comfort to everyone who knew him. May the memories of his service and friendship remind us that a person's legacy lives on through the lives they have touched.
To his beloved family, we extend our deepest condolences. We know that no words can ease the pain of losing someone so dear, but we hope you find comfort in knowing that Dudu was valued not only by his family but also by the colleagues and friends who became part of his life. We pray that the Lord grants you strength in your moments of weakness, peace in your moments of sorrow, and comfort in the days when his absence is felt most deeply.
Dudu, thank you for being part of our POSMO family. Thank you for your service, the memories we shared, and the moments that we will forever treasure. We wish we could have had more time with you, more conversations, and more days of serving alongside you. Although we must now continue our journey without your presence, we will carry with us the memories of the time we were blessed to share.
Your duty here on earth may have ended, but the legacy you leave behind will continue through the people you served, the friendships you built, and the memories you gave us. You may be gone from our sight, but you will always remain a part of our story.
Until we meet again, may you rest in the eternal peace of God's loving embrace.
