With this year’s theme — “Cooperatives: United in Purpose and Action, Sharing Prosperity to Build a Better World” — we’re reminded that progress becomes truly meaningful when we lift each other up, share opportunities, and grow together.

The Iloilo City Cooperative Development Council (ICCDC) proudly stands with all cooperatives, members, and advocates who continue to embody the essence of cooperation and community. Through shared purpose and action, we build a better and more inclusive future for all.

We celebrated the spirit of community at our outreach program, 'Alay kag Lolo at Lola ng Kooperatiba.' This event was a wonderful opportunity for our cooperative members to come together and give back to our senior citizens. We aimed to create a joyful and supportive environment, where laughter and connection were the highlights of the day. Our members generously provided goods, delicious food, and engaging games that brought smiles to everyone’s faces.

A heartfelt thank you to the Iloilo City Health Office Dental Division for their invaluable support, offering services such as oral examinations, consultations, prophylaxis, and distributing essential oral health kits.

The Coop Month 2024 Zumba Event was successfully held on October 12, 2024 at Plaza Libertad. Organized by the Jalandoni Memorial National High School Multi-Purpose Cooperative, the event kicked off early in the morning, promoting health and wellness among cooperative members and the community. This fun-filled activity was one of the key highlights of the Cooperative Month celebration, bringing together cooperative members, employees, and their families in an energetic and lively Zumba session.

With the Cooperative Month 2024 theme, "Cooperatives: Stronger Together for a Brighter Future", the Zumba event aimed to encourage a healthy lifestyle while strengthening camaraderie among participants. It also underscored the cooperative spirit of teamwork and collective action in promoting not only economic growth but also physical well-being. The event featured upbeat music, professional instructors, and a joyful atmosphere that left participants invigorated and ready to engage in other cooperative activities lined up for the month.

The celebration continued with a festive opening ceremony at Joe III Garden, where we proudly inducted our newly elected officers. Following the Holy Mass, we held a spirited parade filled with energy and camaraderie, embodying this year’s theme "Cooperatives: Stronger Together Today for a Brighter Tomorrow."
