The LGU of Dumangas, headed by Mayor BJ Biron, welcomed Christel Jaspe Surita of Brgy. Patlad, our Topnotcher during the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers, last 25 May 2026, at the Office of the Mayor.

Together with her were her adviser, Mr. Ernie Pedregosa, Dr. Matthew Lasap, Campus Administrator of ISUFST - Dumangas Campus, and her proud parents.

The Local Government Unit of Dumangas headed by Mayor BJ Biron extends our warmest greetings to our Muslim brothers and sisters.

This is pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 1264, declaring May 27, 2026, Wednesday, as a regular holiday throughout the country – in observance of Eid al-Adha (Feast of the Sacrifice).

The Local Government Unit of Dumangas extends its heartfelt condolences to the family, loved ones, friends, and constituents of Punong Barangay Hon. Rolly Dumdumaya of Brgy. Tambobo.

His contributions and concern for the welfare of his constituents will remain a lasting legacy to all who had the privilege of working with and knowing him. We pray that his family may find strength, comfort, and peace in the love and prayers of those around them.

4𝐓𝐇 𝐂𝐃𝐒𝐀 𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐓 2026 | 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍

A meeting with our Technical Working Group of CDSA Meet 2026 was successfully conducted last May 21, 2026 at the Pavilion, Ilaya 2nd, Dumangas, Iloilo.

The meeting focused on the consolidation of activity proposals, coordination of preparations, and discussion of the different programs and logistical requirements for the successful hosting of CDSA Meet 2026 by the Municipality of Dumangas.

𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐏𝐖𝐃 𝐁𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒

The Municipality of Dumangas, headed by Mayor BJ Biron through the Municipal Social and Development Office, held a payout for our PWD Beneficiaries.

Based on the list of our MSWDO, a total of 34 Persons with Disabilities (PWD) beneficiaries received educational assistance amounting to ₱3,000 each on May 21, 2026.

This initiative reflects the LGU of Dumangas’ continued commitment to support inclusive education and help empower PWD learners in achieving their academic goals.

Captured today, May 25, 2026, is the weekly flag-raising ceremony of the Local Government Unit of Dumangas.

This was attended by Municipal Officials headed by Mayor BJ Biron, Department Heads, Punong Barangays, SB Members, and Employees from National & Local Offices.

The said ceremony was sponsored by the Office of the Municipal Mayor headed by Mayor BJ Biron.

Last 20 May 2026, Hon. Grace Nalleca, the newly appointed Barangay Kagawad of Ilaya 2nd, took her oath before Mayor BJ Biron.

PUBLIC ADVISORY ‼️

The LGU of Dumangas informs the public that the existing road in Brgy. Bacong, previously located at the middle portion of a private lot owned by Cipriano Deloria “Tay Paning”, has been realigned for improved accessibility and convenience.

The newly constructed road, with a total length of 126 meters, is now officially open for public use. Accordingly, the old road will be closed. We encourage the public to use the new road for safer and more convenient travel.

𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐔𝐀𝐋 𝐈𝐍𝐕𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐍 (𝐀𝐈𝐏) 𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍

The LGU of Dumangas successfully conducted the Annual Investment Plan (AIP) Orientation to strengthen proper planning, budgeting, and implementation of programs, projects, and activities for the continuous development of our community last April 22, 2026 at Dumangas Haw-as Arena.

Through this activity, department heads learned the importance of aligning plans and priorities for effective public service and sustainable progress for all Dumangasanons.
