According to our COVID focal person, Dr. Roland Fortuna, all the indicators show that Iloilo City can be placed on alert level 2. We will file an appeal so that we can allow for economic activities. DOH has informed that as per their targets we have already attained 88% fully vaccinated.

Our businessmen are hurting and many have closed their stores. Many have lost their jobs. We have the highest rate of vaccination in the region and our daily cases are among the lowest. It is time to start the revival of our economy which has gone to its lowest levels in decades. Let us help our businessmen have a merrier Christmas this year so that more jobs can be provided.
