Here’s what we have accomplished for the 1st Quarter of 2026 as we continue DICT’s commitment to strengthening connectivity, enhancing ICT capacity, promoting cybersecurity, advancing transparency in government, and providing sustained support across Western Visayas.

𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗗𝗔 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗴 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 – Nagsagawa ng initial meeting ang TESDA at Department of Information and Communications Technology - DICT, sa pangunguna ni TESDA Deputy Director General Felizardo R. Colambo at DICT Undersecretary David Almirol Jr., para sa dagdag na integrasyon ng TESDA services sa eGovPH App.

Layunin nito na mas mapalawak pa ang digital access sa government services at gawing mas madali at mas malapit sa publiko ang mga ito sa pamamagitan ng eGovPH bilang isang “one-stop platform.”

Napag-usapan sa pulong ang mga posibleng ma-integrate na serbisyo tulad ng Skills Passport, eLearning, at iba pang TVET programs na sumusuporta sa skills development at employability ng mga Pilipino.

Patuloy ang coordination para sa implementation ng mga features na ito.

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) through its Procurement Service, invites all interested suppliers to take part in the first DICT Suppliers Forum on 27 April 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, which will be held in a hybrid setup.

This forum aims to enhance supplier participation, strengthen engagement with industry partners, and provide a clearer understanding of government procurement policies and processes.

What to expect:
🔸 Salient features of Republic Act No. 12009 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR);
🔸 Common causes of failure or disqualification of bidders;
🔸 Overview of the DICT’s priority programs and flagship projects;
🔸 Vendor performance monitoring and timely payment processing; and
🔸 Open dialogue with suppliers to improve coordination and compliance with procurement and financial regulations.

📣Happening Now at LGU Santa Barbara, Iloilo📣

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Region VI – eLGU Team is currently conducting a Refresher Training for the key system users of LGU Santa Barbara. This initiative aims to enhance and update the participants’ knowledge and skills in using the Business Permits and Licensing System (BPLS), ensuring efficient and effective service delivery. The training responds to the LGU’s request to further capacitate its personnel and strengthen their ability to manage and operate the system with confidence and accuracy.
