The Bureau of Fire Protection Region 6 Dental Service, headed by 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣 𝗜𝗗𝗔 𝗠 𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗔𝗬𝗢, 𝗗𝗠𝗗, together with 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣 𝗥𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗟 𝗘 𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗢, 𝗗𝗠𝗗, participated in a Medical and Dental Mission, and Gift-Giving Activity conducted at Barangay Fabrica, Hamtic, Antique.

The outreach activity was carried out in collaboration with San Jose Fire Station and aimed to provide essential healthcare services and support to the local community. Residents of Barangay Fabrica, along with pupils of Fabrica Elementary School, benefited from free oral health services, gifts, and school supplies.

The initiative reflects the Bureau’s commitment to extending public service beyond fire prevention and emergency response by promoting health and wellness, and making a difference in the lives of those they serve.

Ang Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) ay nanawagan na mag-ingat sa mga AI-generated images na maaaring kumakalat. Sa panahon ng emergency at sakuna, mabilis kumalat ang impormasyon online ngunit hindi lahat ng nakikita ninyong larawan ng mga rescue operations ay totoo.

Ang pagkalat ng mga AI-generated o pekeng larawan ay maaaring magdulot ng kalituhan, panic, at pagkalat ng maling impormasyon na nakasasagabal sa mga totoong emergency response.

Gibberish and Distorted Text: Madalas mali ang spelling, magulo ang mga nakasulat sa uniporme, helmet o karatula.

Anatomical Anomalies: Tignan ang mga kamay at mukha. Maghanap ng sobrang daliri, natutunaw na balat o hindi natural na ekspresyon.

Melding Objects/ Structural Errors: Pansinin ang mga bagay na nakalutang, mga kable na walang pinanggalingan o crane na hindi makatotohanan.

AI Sheen o “Masyadong Makinis”: Ang AI na larawan ay madalas na sobrang kinis, at perpekto ang ilaw.

Maging mapanuri. Siguraduhing nanggaling ito sa mga lehitimong news outlets at official pages ng ahensya ng gobyerno. Ireport ang mga AI-generated images na maaaring makapahamak sa operasyon.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | The Bureau of Fire Protection Region 6 and the Local Government Unit of Dumalag, Capiz officially sealed a significant partnership through the successful ceremonial signing of the Deed of Donation and Subdivision Agreement for the donated 507-square meter lot intended for the establishment of fire station to strenghten emergency services in the municipality.

The agreement was formally signed by 𝗙𝗖𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗙𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗫𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗢 𝗙 𝗔𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗔, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, representing the Bureau of Fire Protection Region 6, and Mayor Maria Concepcion T. Castro, representing the Municipality of Dumalag.

Also present during the activity were Dumalag local government officials, 𝗙𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗘𝗗𝗘𝗡 𝗠 𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗔-𝗕𝗔𝗨𝗔, Capiz Provincial Fire Marshal, and other BFP6 personnel.

The donation of the property was facilitated through the dedicated efforts of Dumalag Fire Station, headed by SFO3 Diovie E Nieves, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, whose initiative and commitment significantly contributed to the realization of this milestone undertaking.

BFP Region 6 extends its sincere gratitude to the Municipality of Dumalag for its invaluable support and continued partnership in advancing safer, stronger, and more resilient communities.

READ | DILG assures families: Rescue efforts continue in collapsed Angeles building

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) on Wednesday assured families of missing workers that authorities will continue search, rescue, and retrieval operations at the site of the collapsed building in Angeles City, Pampanga, despite the dangerous and unstable condition of the structure.

DILG Secretary Jonvic Remulla said responders on the ground remain committed to bringing every victim home, stressing that operations will continue carefully and methodically until the last possible area has been cleared.

“Yes, 'wag mawawalan ng pag-asa. Maniwala kayo sa amin, gagawin namin ang lahat para ma-recover ang lahat ng mga tao, buhay man o patay,” Remulla said.

The DILG chief appealed for understanding as rescuers work under extremely delicate conditions where a single wrong move could trigger another collapse and put both trapped victims and responders at greater risk.

“You cannot blame the responders. They are doing their best. One wrong move and the entire structure will collapse further. So everything has to be synchronized,” he said. “Parang walis ito na tinanggal mo sa tiklis. Kasi isa-isa mo bubunutin yan hanggang makuha lahat.”

Remulla emphasized that every agency involved in the operation must move as one to ensure an organized and focused response for the affected families and communities.

“We have to have a unified voice in dealing with the tragedy under a unified command,” he said.

At the same time, the DILG Secretary said authorities are now preparing possible criminal charges against the owner and contractor of the building as the investigation moves forward.

“We are looking at the criminal aspect of the operations of the owner and the contractor,” he said during an ambush interview.

According to Remulla, authorities have already identified the owner and contractor while investigators continue to determine the circumstances that led to the collapse.

He added that a full technical assessment is still ongoing to establish the exact cause of the incident, noting that the actions of concerned local officials, including the city engineer and building official, will also be reviewed as part of the investigation.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) warns the public and all personnel under the Department against unauthorized individuals allegedly using the name of Undersecretary for Public Safety Jed Patrick E. Mabilog in fraudulent transactions and solicitation activities. Reports received by the Department indicate that certain persons have been falsely representing themselves as being connected with the Office of the Undersecretary for Public Safety without proper authority.

The DILG emphasizes that neither the Department nor any of its officials authorizes any individual or group to solicit money, donations, favors, endorsements, financial assistance, or facilitation of transactions on their behalf.

The Office neither engages in nor tolerates any such fraudulent schemes.

The Department further warns that unauthorized use, misrepresentation, and fraudulent acts involving the name of the Undersecretary or the Office may result in appropriate administrative, civil, and criminal charges under existing laws.
