ICTMO held its 2025 Year-End Planning Workshop at Caza Iyang, Concepcion, Iloilo last November 28-30, 2025. The Two day planning included Team Building activities and a focus on introducing the DICT Information System Strategic Plan (ISSP) template as a guide for the next 3 years. The ICTMO is headed by Provincial Government Assistant Department Head Sixthree Anthony Demaisip.

📣 Knowledge Exchange Visit at the Iloilo Provincial Government!

The Iloilo Provincial Government (IPG) thru the Office of the Information and Communication Technology Management Officer (OICTMO) welcomed delegates from the City Government of Koronadal, composed of representatives from the City Planning and Development Office – Information and Communication Technology Division (CPDO-ICT Division), Business Permit, Licensing and Franchising Division (BPLFD), and the Office of the Building Official (OBO) for a Knowledge Exchange Activity held at the Iloilo Provincial Capitol.

The activity aimed to provide the visiting delegation with insights into IPG’s best practices and innovations in E-Governance and ICT-related operations, as the City Government of Koronadal team continues to enhance their systems and services. This knowledge-sharing initiative fosters collaboration among local government units and strengthens digital transformation efforts toward more efficient and transparent public service.

This Undas, the Iloilo provincial government joins every Ilonggo family in remembering our dearly departed.

On these days, we pause to honor the saints of the Christian church and traditionally gather in cemeteries to visit our loved ones and cherish old memories.

While it was not declared a holiday, we also observe All Soul's Day (November 2) to pray for the souls of the deceased.

The Office of the ICTMO is conducting the Orientation on the Enhanced Attendance and Timekeeping System (ATiKS) for provincial government employees.

The enhanced system features significant improvements, including real-time DTR generation and the removal of the need to download attendance logs. These upgrades aim to improve efficiency and accuracy in monitoring employee attendance.

The activity also includes an introduction to Data Privacy, emphasizing the importance of protecting personal and institutional information in all ICT-related processes.

Iloilo City — On September 29–30, 2025, the eGov R6 Team successfully conducted an eGovPH Advocacy and Promotion activity at the Iloilo Provincial Capitol as part of the continuing initiative of DICT Region 6 to boost awareness and increase the number of eGovPH App downloads across the region.

To engage the public, the team set up an interactive booth that featured live demonstrations on navigating the app, highlighting its key features and benefits for citizens. Capitol employees, stakeholders, and visitors were also encouraged to download the eGovPH App on-site, gaining firsthand experience of how the platform simplifies access to government services.

This initiative underscores the commitment of DICT Region 6 to promote digital transformation at the grassroots level, making government services more accessible, efficient, and citizen-friendly through the adoption of innovative digital tools.
