Last April 9, we commemorated Araw ng Kagitingan with a simple yet meaningful morning program, followed by a Holy Mass in the afternoon—a moment to reflect and give thanks for the freedom we continue to enjoy.

On April 11, we gathered once more for a solemn sunset ceremony, paying tribute as the day closed—reminding us that the legacy of valor lives on in every Filipino.

Please be advised that the PVAO Pension for the month of April 2026 will be credited on the following dates:

AFPSLAI, AUB, DBP, PVB | April 16, 2026 (Thursday)
AMWSLAI, CWSLAI, LBP, MAYBANK | April 17, 2026 (Friday)

However, pensioners with blocked pension accounts due to non-updating of living status and other reasons may view their account balances, but no pension credit will be posted until their pension status has been updated and cleared.

The PVAO Field Service Office Iloilo successfully conducted a Lakbay Serbisyo sa Bagong Pilipinas in Jamindan, Capiz, on March 27, 2026.

The activity aimed to bring essential frontline services closer to pensioners and their families, including the facilitation of Unified ID applications, pension processing, and PVAO validation.

Also present during the activity was Ms. Mary Jane Amigo, Information Officer III of PhilHealth Roxas City, Capiz, who delivered an informative discussion on YAKAP benefits. Representative from Philhealth Roxas City also assisted attendees with on-site enrollment, helping ensure broader access to healthcare coverage and increased public awareness.

We would like to inform you that the 𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 of the 𝗩𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (𝗩𝗛𝗠𝗖𝗣), previously managed by the Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMMC), have been 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 to the 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗩𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗣𝗩𝗔𝗢), pursuant 𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗡𝗼. 𝟬𝟱 dated 02 March 2026.

This transition aims to ensure more efficient, responsive, and timely processing and payment of medical assistance for our veterans and their eligible dependents.

In line with this, a 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗩𝗔𝗢–𝗩𝗠𝗠𝗖 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 is currently being conducted, alongside other preparatory activities, to facilitate a smooth and orderly transition. PVAO has also been directed 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄, 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗛𝗠𝗖𝗣 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, with technical assistance from VMMC, including the identification of partner private hospitals and medical facilities.

We sincerely apologize for the delays and inconveniences experienced by our clients. We respectfully ask for your continued patience and understanding as we complete this transition. Please be assured that the disbursement of pending medical assistance claims is expected to resume as soon as the transition process is finalized.

“Healthy Aging: Wellness Talk and Medical Mission” was successfully conducted for pensioners and their dependents, promoting awareness on geriatric health and accessible healthcare services.

The wellness talk, focusing on geriatric care and PhilHealth benefits, was led by Dr. Amalia Fernandez of the PhilHealth Regional Office VI—providing valuable insights to support the well-being of our veteran community. This was followed by a medical mission, offering essential health services and care to the attendees.

A VFP symposium was successfully conducted for Region VI pensioners and their dependents, providing an avenue for meaningful dialogue and updates on VFP programs and services.

During the activity, MGen. Romeo Alamillo, AFP (Ret), the VFP President, personally engaged with attendees, addressing their concerns and answering questions about VFP matters, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to transparency, service, and support for the veteran community.

PVAO FSO Iloilo joins in the celebration of the 81st Victory Day Celebration of the Liberation of Panay, Romblon, and Guimaras Islands.

As we commemorate this historic victory, we carry forward the spirit of unity and service—ensuring that the sacrifices of the past continue to inspire future generations.
