✨Lakas at Gilas ni Egoogan
Victory and determination marked the inspiring journey of Kienalle Iel Egoogan, a Grade 5–ESM pupil, in the field of campus journalism—particularly in Sports Writing (Filipino), Individual Category.
Kienalle first proved her potential during the 2026 Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) of Schools Division Office of Iloilo City, held at Navitasan Integrated School in Iloilo City. Competing against talented young writers across the division, she secured 7th Place, an achievement that became her stepping stone toward greater success. Though not yet at the top, this experience fueled her determination to improve her craft, refine her writing style, and aim higher.
With perseverance, discipline, and continuous training, Kienalle advanced to the 2026 Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) held on February 9–11, 2026 at Punta Villa Resort in Arevalo, Iloilo City. Facing the best sports writers from across Region VI, she rose above the competition and proudly claimed 1st Place – Champion in Sports Writing (Filipino). Her powerful storytelling, accurate reporting, and passion for sports journalism impressed the judges and earned her the championship title.
From placing seventh at the division level to becoming regional champion, Kienalle’s journey reflects resilience and unwavering dedication. Her success is not only a personal triumph but also a source of pride for her school and community. Through hard work, faith, and commitment to excellence, she transformed challenges into achievements.
With this remarkable victory, Kienalle will represent Western Visayas (Region VI) at the prestigious National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) 2026. As she prepares to compete on the national stage, she carries with her the hopes and pride of her school, division, and region.
Indeed, Kienalle Iel Egoogan’s journey proves that true champions are not defined by where they start, but by how hard they strive to reach the top.
Kudos BESians!
