ILOILO CITY IS A GOLD AWARDEE FOR NATIONAL BIKE DAY BIKE LANE AWARDS

Another gold for the Ilonggos as we took home the gold during the National Bike Day Bike Lane Awards by the Department of Interior and Local Government, Department of Transportation, Department of Health, Department of Public Works and Highways, and SM Cares.

The first National Bike Day Lane Awards 2021 aims to highlight local government units (LGUs) around the country that best utilize the efficiency and effectiveness of bike lanes.

More programs will rise for our cyclists to promote sustainable living. Uswag Iloilo!

ILOILO CITY IS ASEAN CLEAN TOURIST CITY AWARDEE

Our efforts to create a clean and level-up environment not just for the Ilonggos but for our visitors were recognized by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

They turned over the plaques as an ASEAN Clean Tourist City Awardee for 2020-2022 which recognized our beautification of public areas, improvisation of the environment and sanitation, enhancement of urban spaces, and promotion of our man-made and natural attractions.

The big man of the senate, former senator Frank Drilon, had been our strong partner to create a better environment for our people.
