Baby Zam’s kidney transplant in India, organized by Freanne Tababa Hi there! For my 30th Birthday, I want to raise a fund for the urgent liver tran… Freanne Tababa needs your support for Baby Zam’s kidney transplant in India

We created this page to raise fund for the immediate liver transplant of our Baby “Zam” Zowyl Amaree Embate Mestosamente. She is 6 months old, was diagnosed of biliary atresia, a very rare liver condition for infants. When she was 4 months she underwent Kasai procedure, a major operation to save her liver. Unfortunately, more than 50 percent of her liver has been damaged due to the delay of the operation brought by COVID restrictions. Now, despite of continuous medication her tummy is bloated. This is is a sign that her liver is not functioning well. We left with one last option, to send her to India for a liver transplant by February 2022. The procedure for her age is not yet available in the country.

We are running against the time in processing all the requirements as well as gathering the amount we will need for the procedure. We’ve coordinated and asked help from various NGOs, one of them is —-Max Health, a Non Government Organization that helps children of similar needs. Since they cannot shoulder all the expenses, we were told to prepare a certain amount.
Given that we have less than 3 months to prepare, we cannot produce the required amount knowing that we have not yet recovered from all the hospital, medical, maintenance expenses. Our Baby Zam stayed in the hospital for a 1 month after her operation.

Friends, relatives we are asking for your financial support to help us raise the required amount to save our baby Zam. She is our little fighter! And we want to fight for her!
