🔴 LOOK: University of San Agustin champions community resilience at the KABALAKA Expo 2026! 🏛️🌾
From July 15 to 17, 2026, the Augustinian community actively participated in the region's premier disaster readiness event at Convention Drive, Iloilo Business Park (Megaworld), Mandurriao.
This impactful showcase was made possible through a unified campus collaboration among the following:
✅ Sustainability and Resilience Management Office
✅ Office of the University National Service Training Program (NSTP)
✅ Social Advocacy and Community Engagement Office (SACEO)
💪 Strengthened by the vital support of the USA National Service Reserve Corps (NSRC)!
Organized by the Iloilo City DRRMC and the Office of Civil Defense Region VI, the expo served as a platform for USA to showcase its innovative initiatives in environmental sustainability, climate awareness, and public safety. Through interactive booths and educational activities, Augustinians proved once again that building disaster-resilient communities starts with proactive civic action.
Kudos to all the offices and student reservists who represented the university with pride and purpose! 🎒🌟

SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the center of the eye of Super Typhoon "INDAY" {BAVI} was located based on all available data at 1,420 km East of Northern Luzon (16.6°N, 135.0°E) with maximum sustained winds of 185 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 230 km/h. It is moving Westward at 25 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Mindanao.

FORECAST:
Antique, Iloilo, Guimaras, Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental will experience Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorm due to Southwest Monsoon.

The rest of Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to Southwest Monsoon.
