Patuloy na ipinapatupad ng DPWH Region 6 sa pangunguna ng Equipment Management Division, katuwang ang District Engineering Offices, ang iba't ibang aktibidad sa ilalim ng programang Oplan Kontra Baha kabilang na dito ang desilting at clearing operations sa mga waterways.

As of May 11, 2026, umabot na sa 74.96 porsyento ang accomplishment sa Batiano River habang nasa 47.93 porsyento naman sa Dungon Creek.

Patuloy rin ang manual declogging sa mga drainage inlets at estero sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng rehiyon bilang bahagi ng regular na maintenance activities at pagpapalawak ng programa upang mapanatiling maayos ang daloy ng tubig at pagpalakas ng depensa sa posibleng pagbaha.

Bilang pagpapalawak ng programang Oplan Kontra Baha, inumpisahan na ang desilting/ clearing operations sa Pueblo Creek, Pueblo de Panay, Lawa-an, Roxas City. Layunin ng aktibidad na mapanatiling maayos ang kondisyon ng creek sa pamamagitan ng pagtanggal ng naipong putik at iba pang sagabal sa daluyan ng tubig.

Tuloy-tuloy din ang operasyon (declogging, dredging, clearing) sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng Iloilo at Capiz sa pamamagitan ng pagtutulungan ng DPWH, lokal na pamahalaan, at iba pang ahensya.

Ini nagatuyo nga malimpyuhan kag makakas ang mga basura kag lunang nga nagabara, lakip na ang mga water lilies (water hyacinth) agud mapahapsay ang pag-ilig sang tubig. Sa subong, nakalab-ot na sa 44.80 porsyento ang accomplishment sa nasambit nga lugar.

Ini man preparasyon sang siyudad agud mapabaskog ang depensa batok sa pagbaha, ilabi na sa maabot nga tig-ululan.
