In connection with the celebration of 𝘙𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘈𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘩, 𝘢𝘴 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘌𝘹𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘖𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘕𝘰. 84, 𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘯 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩 13, 1999, 𝘍𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘚𝘱𝘢𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 & 𝘕𝘦𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘈𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘺 was successfully carried out by the personnel of the 𝘖𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘝𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘯-𝘐𝘭𝘰𝘪𝘭𝘰, in collaboration with the 𝘓𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘎𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘢𝘯 𝘑𝘰𝘢𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘯 through the 𝘔𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘢𝘭 𝘈𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘖𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦.

A total of 17 dogs and cats have safely undergone neutering—helping control the animal population, prevent the spread of diseases, and promote better overall animal welfare.

This initiative reflects our shared commitment to responsible pet ownership and a safer, rabies-free community. 🏡✨

Rabies remains a preventable yet deadly disease. Today’s Rabies Awareness & Orientation Training serves as a vital platform to equip us with the knowledge and responsibility needed to safeguard both human and animal lives.

In line with this, 𝘔𝘳𝘴. 𝘑𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘦 𝘊𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘰, 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘙𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘊𝘰𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳, 𝘖𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘝𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘯-𝘐𝘭𝘰𝘪𝘭𝘰, delivered a comprehensive and insightful presentation on the latest updates and real-life cases of animal rabies. She underscored the importance of responsible pet ownership and the critical role of timely vaccination in preventing the spread of the disease.

Complementing this discussion, 𝘔𝘳𝘴. 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘺𝘭𝘭 𝘔𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘢, 𝘕𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦 𝘐𝘐 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘢𝘯 𝘑𝘰𝘢𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘯 𝘗𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘍𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺, shared essential information on the human aspect of rabies. Her discussion focused on prevention, early warning signs, and the immediate actions required in cases of possible exposure.

The activity was further honored by the presence of our 𝘔𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘢𝘭 𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘰𝘳, 𝘈𝘵𝘵𝘺. 𝘑𝘰𝘦 𝘈𝘣𝘢𝘥 𝘚. 𝘓𝘢𝘻𝘢𝘳𝘰, 𝘑𝘳., who conveyed his steadfast support for the municipality’s rabies prevention efforts. In his message, he highlighted the significance of community cooperation, proactive vaccination initiatives, and sustained public awareness in achieving a rabies-free community. He also commended the unwavering commitment of our barangay vaccinators and encouraged everyone to remain vigilant and responsible pet owners.

This meaningful activity saw the active participation of our dedicated Barangay Vaccinators, whose continued efforts play a crucial role in protecting our communities from rabies.

: 𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗥𝗘𝗢𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗭𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗦𝗔𝗡 𝗝𝗢𝗔𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗡 𝗠𝗙𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗖

The Local Government Unit thru the Municipal Agriculture Office conducted an Orientation and Reorganization of Municipal Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Management Council. This is with the help and guidance of the personnel from Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources- Provincial Fisheries Office (BFAR VI-PFO) Iloilo who rendered a discussion to shed light regarding the compositions and functions of the Council. At the same time, facilitate the election of Officers.

As per stipulated under Republic Act 8550 amended by RA 10654 and Fisheries Administrative Order 196 series of 2000 supports and governs the creation of the Council. It focuses on empowering local fisherfolk and ensuring sustainable management of aquatic resources at both national and local levels. It serves as an advisory body to the local government including fishery development planning, policy recommendations, advice to Local Government, and others.

Present during the reOrg were Atty. Joe Abad S. Lazaro, Jr., Municipal Mayor, Hon. Ivy Mae S. Crespo, Municipal Vice Mayor, Hon. Pedro Joey Seasat, SB Member Chairperson on Agriculture and Fisheries and Hon. Mykel Josh S. Mondragon, SKMF President. The various LGU departments were as well represented such as MSWDO, DILG, MDPO, MDC and MAO under the leadership of Mr. Kennard John S. Mondragon, Municipal Agriculturist.
The members of the Council were also present from the various sectors in the community with involvement in Fisheries such as municipal fisherfolks, youth & women sector, commercial fishing vessel operators, private and non-government organization.

The activity was ended with the oathtaking and induction of newly elected San Joaquin MFARMC Officers.

Samtang, paagi sa Proclamation No. 1189 s. 2026, ang Biyernes, Marso 20, 2026 ginadeklarar nga Regular Holiday sa bug-os nga pungsod bilang pagselebrar kang Eid al-Fitr, nga nagamarka kang pagtapos kang bulan kang pagpuasa kang mga Muslim nga ginatawag Ramadan.

In connection with this, the Local Government thru the Municipal Agriculture Office is currently conducting a massive anti-rabies vaccination in the Barangays. Furthermore, there will be a 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 spaying and neutering to be conducted on 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 at San Joaquin Mega Gym.

Ang tinutuyo kang na sambit nga training ang madugangan ang ihibalo kang Cacao Farmers sa siyentipiko nga pamaagi kag hanason pagid sanda sa praktikal nga aspeto para mapasanyog ang industriya kang cacao sa banwa.

Ang amo dya nga programa suportado guid kag ginapangunahan ni Municipal Mayor Atty. Joe Abad S. Lazaro, Jr. imaw si SB Member Committee on Agriculture, Hon. Pedro Joey S. Ang Agro-trade fair bukas umpisa tulad asta sa sabado. Gani, kit-anay kita sa Ruins of Old Convent. Aton suportahan ang mga “gawang-lokal” kag tatak San Joaquin nga mga produkto.
