Concrete Pouring Ceremony for the 4PH Housing Projects in Iloilo City

The Concrete Pouring Ceremonies for the Rental Housing Project in Sambag, Jaro and the Uswag Condominium Complex in San Isidro, Jaro mark another milestone in Iloilo City’s journey toward sustainable and people-centered housing under the Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Program (4PH).

The Rental Housing Project in Sambag stands as the first of its kind in Western Visayas — a testament to the city’s commitment to innovative and accessible housing solutions for low-income families. The Rental Housing project will feature two seven-storey residential buildings, which will provide a total of 362 housing units for qualified beneficiaries, once completed.

Meanwhile, the Uswag Condominium Complex in San Isidro brings to reality years of planning, collaboration, and dedication among national agencies, the Iloilo City Government, and partner communities to provide safe and dignified homes for Ilonggos. This milestone project will provide 1,677 housing units across 13 ten-story buildings, ensuring modern, sustainable, and affordable homes for Ilonggos.

Today’s ceremony highlights Iloilo City’s growing potential as a hub for transformative housing developments under the 4PH Program. As these projects begin to rise, the city welcomes more developers and partners to invest in building inclusive, sustainable, and thriving communities for future generations of Ilonggos.

Proactive action today, safer communities tomorrow.

We commend the various Homeowners Associations for undertaking de-clogging activities ahead of the rainy season. By thinking two steps ahead and keeping drainage systems clear, our HOAs are helping minimize flooding and protecting their communities from possible hazards.

We also encourage other HOAs to take part in similar clean-up and de-clogging initiatives. Small collective actions today can make a big difference during heavy rains. Together, let us continue building cleaner, safer, and more resilient communities for everyone.
