The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region Western Visayas rolled out the Express Permitting on Wheels (EPOW) to bring its services closer to small and medium-scale entrepreneurs and business owners in the island province of Guimaras.

Technical experts from the DENR and its line bureaus, including the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) and the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB), were on-site to streamline application processes.

A total of 795 tricycle drivers from the town of Culasi (northern Antique) received their assistance today, April 20 at the Covered Court, in Poblacion, Culasi.

The beneficiaries expressed gratitude to DSWD and the government in general, for giving them subsidy amidst the increase in prices of petroleum products due to the conflict in the Middle East.
