Last night, May 8, the Living Heritage Museum Tour Dinner Night at the NHCP Museum of Philippine Economic History gathered guests for a breathtaking celebration of Iloilo’s Spanish-era legacy.

It was a truly immersive evening where every element of the past came alive:

🏛️ Architecture & Stories: The grand stone walls and capiz windows of the historic Ynchausti-Elizalde Building served as our time machine, whispering stories of Iloilo’s glorious mercantile past.

🥘 Food: Attendees savored an exclusive Spanish-Ilonggo feast prepared by LaMeza Ilonggo. From the live carving of savory Pernil to the signature Paella de Adobo Ilonggo, it was a culinary fusion of two rich centuries.

👗 Fashion: The halls transformed into a living runway, with guests and performers draped in stunning Filipiniana attire, intricate lace, and the proud, woven beauty of Ilonggo Hablon.

🎭 Performing Arts: The era was fully awakened by the nostalgic sounds of the Rondalla of Himig Kwerdas of Iloilo National High School, alongside a breathtaking full Spanish theatrical period production by EKSENA Training Services, Sidlangan Dance Company, and Hagunghong Musicians.
