This Monday, March 23, 2026 at 9:00 AM, the KMME-MME 2026 Batch One officially begins with its Online Launching Ceremony, streamed live on the Kapatid Mentor Me Western Visayas page, hosted by DTI Iloilo.

The event will introduce our official mentees, a dynamic group of multi-sectoral micro and small entrepreneurs from across the region, who will embark on a 10-week journey of learning, mentoring, and business improvement under the KMME-MME Online Program.

The launching will also include an orientation on the program’s components, in partnership with the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship.

Green Shift is a joint initiative by United Nations ESCAP and Temasek Foundation, supporting SMEs to accelerate their green transition and strengthen sustainable supply chains across South-East Asia. This module fortifies the mentees with basic knowledge of prevailing laws on obligations and contracts as applied in the Philippines. It empowers the mentees with the awareness of their rights in the undertaking of agreements and contracts as well as a good grasp of legal predicaments that can arise from their transactions and dealings during their business operations.

Market Expansion and Internationalization

This module is designed to educate the mentees on various pathways to grow their business – deeper market pe*******on, new market development, new product development and diversification.

INTRODUCING THE MODULE 9A MENTOR
Product Development

This module is the design, development, assessment and continued innovation of products and services. This module leads the mentees to clearly define the unique value propositions that they will offer to their identified target markets. Also, this module will educate the mentees on the value of innovation in today’s increasingly competitive marketplace and provide examples of winning innovations to give the mentees a procedure to follow in developing and qualifying innovative products.

INTRODUCING THE MODULE 8 MENTOR
Human Resources and Organizational Management

This module presents how the employees and their performance can yield a positive or negative impact on the overall state of the enterprise and how effectively managed workforces can bring in sustained gains for the business. This module threads through the procedures involving the recruitment, hiring, training and management of the employees. It shows how people can make or break your business.

INTRODUCING THE MODULE 7 MENTOR
Entrepreneurial Accounting and Financial Management

Knowledge of basic accounting and financial management is most vital to the mentees as they strive to record their revenues and expenditures right, to generate accurate financial statements and to detect untoward cash shortages and losses in time for remedying the situation and completely avoiding a financial disaster for their enterprises. Financial data of the mentees’ business operations and analysis thereof also matter in the course of making day-to-day management decisions. The real financial performance and condition of an enterprise can only be derived through effective financial management the mentees should appreciate and work on.
