Rising Health | ICAST Smoke-free and Vape-free Advocacy for Children

Today, through the Kids Smoke-free Storytelling (KiSS) Program at E. Yusay Memorial School by ICAST, and student workers, parents and teachers,we aim to teach our children the importance of living in a healthy, smoke-free, and v**e-free environment. By using storytelling, we help young learners understand the harmful effects of smoking and second-hand smoke in a simple, meaningful, and child-friendly way.

Children deserve clean air, healthy surroundings, and a future free from the dangers of to***co and v**e exposure. This program not only educates them but also encourages them to become young advocates of health and wellness in their homes and communities.

The Iloilo City Anti-Smoking Taskforce conducted an Anti-Smoking and Anti-Vaping lecture in our public markets aims to raise awareness among vendors, workers, and market goers about the harmful effects of smoking and va**ng, especially the dangers of secondhand smoke.
Public markets are places where many people gather daily, including children, pregnant women, and senior citizens, and everyone deserves a clean, healthy, and smoke-free environment.
Through continuous education and enforcement, we encourage everyone to support and follow the city’s Smoke-free and Vape-free policies for the health and safety of the community.
