Mayor Milliard Villanueva and LGU Staff with University of the Philippines Visayas that will provide the people of Concepcion a Sustainable Livelihood Training Program in Concepcion as part of the Northern Iloilo Fishery Rehabilitation and Development and to identify sustainable alternative livelihoopd in fishery and non-fishery sectors for income generatioin.

The Municipality of Concepcion is located in the northeastern portion of Panay Island and 107 km from the capital city of Iloilo, strategic area for tourism attraction comprising 16 islands with unspoiled white beaches and pristine waters and rich in marine resources with its 96k municipal waters. One can see the beauty and vast potential of Concepcion when he/she goes to the islands where beach resorts proliferate. Tourist boats are available anytime on scheduled at our tourism office.
