The Iloilo City - Office of the City Veterinarian informs the public that the scheduled house-to-house anti-rabies vaccination for pets in Jaro district this June has been postponed due to the high heat index and limited vaccine availability.

A new supply of anti-rabies vaccines is expected to arrive in July. An updated schedule for the vaccination activities will be released once available.

Pet owners are also reminded to prioritize their pets’ safety during periods of extreme heat by ensuring they have access to clean drinking water, proper ventilation, and avoiding prolonged exposure outdoors during peak temperatures.
