MLGOO visits barangays of Estancia to monitor compliance to Full Disclosure Policy (FDP) and rendered technical assistance to improve barangay governance and operations. Also, monitoring the status of implementation of RAY3 projects.

Full Disclosure Policy (FDP) - a DILG program that promotes transparency of all financial transactions and operations of the barangay. Six documents are required to be posted on the FDP board to show how barangay (LGU) funds are utilized, managed and disbursed.

February 6, 2019: Regular meeting/ interfacing with barangay secretaries of Estancia, Iloilo.

Selected barangay officials of Estancia, Iloilo convened for a one-day discussion on Barangay Planning and Budgeting. Emphasis was given to the topics on Barangay Budget Process, Formulation of Barangay Budget, Supporting Documents and Forms to be prepared for liquidation and Introduction/Re-orientation to the different Barangay Plans.

It was an interactive exchange of ideas and sharing of knowledge between the Speakers and the participants.

Teamwork was inculcated to each participant. Barangay's issues and concerns are Everybody's Concern.

January 15, 2019: Attending PEACE AND ORDER Council (POC) AND ANTI-DRUG ABUSE COUNCIL (ADAC) Performance Review Audit, Province of Iloilo.

Few LGUs were recognized for their commendable efforts and initiatives in the conduct and implementation of the different Programs and Projects in the maintenance of Peace and Order and activities related to fight the proliferation and spread of illegal drugs in their areas of jurisdiction.

Congratulations LGU Estancia for being one of the recognized LGUs in The whole Province of Iloilo.

Indeed, with the support, cooperation, determination and dedication of each MEMBER and stakeholder of MPOC and MADAC, headed by the Municipal Mayor, and at the same time Chairperson of MPOC and MADAC, Hon. Rene S. Cordero, we can strongly implement the programs and conduct activities pertaining to POPS and ADAC.
