The Office of the City Treasurer celebrated a magical and fun-filled Iloilo City Hall’s Annual Halloween Trick-or-Treat with the enchanting theme “Encantadia.” The office was transformed into a realm of colors and fantasy, bringing smiles to children, clientele and staff alike.

Employees and their families joined in the festive mood, with kids dressed in creative costumes inspired by fantasy heroes, cartoon characters, and storybook icons. The decorations — from colorful butterflies to the grand “Encantadia” archway — added to the wonder, creating a delightful atmosphere for everyone.

The activity aimed not only to spread Halloween cheer but also to strengthen camaraderie and family spirit in the Iloilo City Government. The laughter of children, the joy of parents, and the unity of the team made this year’s celebration truly memorable.

Kudos to the organizers, artists and participants for making this year’s Halloween event a spellbinding success!

Iloilo City Treasurer’s Office Leads Flag Raising Ceremony

The Iloilo City Treasurer’s Office had the honor of leading today’s flag raising ceremony at the Iloilo City Hall grounds. The event served as a reminder of our shared commitment to public service, discipline, and unity as we start another productive week serving the people of Iloilo City.

The ceremony reflected the Iloilo City Government’s spirit of teamwork and public service excellence—values that continue to guide their efforts in promoting good governance and accountable leadership.

The Iloilo City Treasurer’s Office is grateful to Princess Hazel B. Herminanda of Iloilo River Plains Integrated School, our Girl City Treasurer, whose presence radiated enthusiasm, confidence, and the spirit of youth leadership. Her stay serves as a meaningful reminder that dedication, passion, and vision know no age.

Pursuant to the guidance of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), and in light of the recent high-magnitude incidents in Zambales, Davao, and Cebu, a regionwide simultaneous earthquake and tsunami drill will be conducted on October 23, 2025 at 3:00 PM.

These drills aim to enhance community awareness, readiness, and coordination in responding to seismic and tsunami hazards, ensuring that all offices, personnel, and communities are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary during such emergencies.

This initiative goes above and beyond the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drills (NSED) conducted quarterly—because preparedness saves lives.

ILOILO CITY—Nagpangaduha ang siyudad sang Iloilo sa ranking sang Top 10 Highly Urbanized Cities sa Pilipinas nga may madasig nga year-on-year growth sa local revenue sang fiscal year 2023-2024.

Naka-record ang siyudad sang 35.07% growth rate sa amo nga tuig.

Nagpanguna naman ang Lapu-Lapu City nga may 37.35% growth rate, nagpangatlo ang Cebu City nga may 25.76% growth rate, pang-apat ang Parañaque City nga may 21.48% growth rate, kag panglima ang Baguio City nga may 19.44% growth rate.

Ini nga pagkilala ang sandig sa Recognition for Top-Performing Local Government Units in Strengthening Local Government Finance for Fiscal Year 2024 sang Bureau of Local Government Finance.

On Year-On-Year Growth in LOCAL SOURCE REVENUES FY2023-2024

From BLGF MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR No. 017-2025 - Recognition of Top-Performing Local Government Units (LGUs) in Strengthening Local Government Finance for FY2024.
The evaluation is based on data from the Fiscal Year 2023 and 2024 Statement of Receipts and Expenditures (SRE) Reports submitted by Local Treasurers in accordance with Department of Finance Order No. 8-2011. The data were analyzed and processed by the BLGF's Local Financial Data Analysis Division (LFDAD) and verified by the concerned BLGF Regional Offices.
