📚✨ CELEBRATING 2025 BOOK WEEK IN FULL COLOR at CENTRAL! ✨📚

American Corner Iloilo proudly partnered with Central Philippine University Elementary Department and the Henry Luce III Library for this year’s 2025 Book Week Celebration—a joyful tribute to reading, imagination, and creative expression!

As part of the festivities, AC Iloilo set up an interactive photo booth and activity display, giving learners a fun space to explore books, answer quick trivia, enjoy board games, and dive into engaging learning tools. The booth quickly became a favorite stop for students, sparking curiosity and promoting critical thinking through play.

The celebration kicked off with the lively Book Character Parade, followed by a campus program and the opening of various booths and exhibits—making December 2 a memorable day for the CPU Elementary community.

Through this collaboration, American Corner Iloilo continues its mission of encouraging a love for reading, supporting creativity, and bringing enriching learning experiences closer to young readers.

We just wrapped up another insightful session of our MOOC Camp Session 2 entitled "Writing for Social Media: Crafting Captions, Hashtags, and Stories" — and what an engaging and enriching discussion it was!

A big thank you to our resource speaker, Prof. Sharlene G. Gotico. Prof. Gotico shared expert strategies on how to craft impactful social media content that resonates in today’s digital age. She emphasized the value of clarity, creativity, and audience engagement in digital writing.

This event is part of our ongoing MOOC Camp series under the course ! English for Digital Communication.
