ILOILO CITY’S RISE-A-FARM PROGRAM

Iloilo City's RISE-A-FARM program has been distinguished as one of the finalists for the esteemed Galing Pook-Walang Gutom Award. This honor was bestowed during a short ceremony that followed the final national presentations by all 17 finalists. DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian presented certificates to all the awardees. The announcement of the top 10 winners is scheduled for tomorrow, June 26, 2024.

Madamo pa sang mga Persons with Disability (PWD) sa syudad nga nagahulat nalang nga matatakan sang security label/sticker ang ila tagsa ka PWD ID.

Samtang nagahulat, may ginahatag sa ila nga claim slip kon sa diin ang iban sa ila ang ginagamit ini sa mga transaksyon.

Luyag ipabalo sang Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) sang City Hall nga maga-depende sa tagdumalahan sang establisimiento kon e-honor nila ang ipakita nga ‘claim slip’ sang PWD para maka-avail sang discount.

PUBLIC ADVISORY FOR ALL PWDs AND ESTABLISHMENTS IN ILOILO CITY

Effective March 1, 2024, all establishments in Iloilo City will no longer give discount to all Persons with Disability (PWDs) whose PWD identification (ID) cards issued by Iloilo City Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) have no security label/sticker.

The Iloilo City Government reiterates that the deadline for the installation of security label on PWD ID cards is on February 29, 2024.

This is based on Executive Order 157 Series of 2023 that directs the installation of security labels for every ID issued for PWD in Iloilo City to abate the proliferation of fake PWD IDs.
