PUBLIC ADVISORY

Due to the inclement weather conditions, face-to-face classes are suspended tomorrow, September 17, 2024, in pre-school to senior high school level in both public and private educational institutions in the City of Iloilo. The suspension of classes at the college level is at the discretion of their respective school administrators.

Subong nga July, aton gina celebrar ang Nutrition Month kag bilang isa gid sa nagaduso sang nutirsyon kag healthy nga pagpangabuhi aton gid ini gina suportahan kag ginahatagan sang naga kaigo nga atensiyon.

Ang masanag nga buwas damlag naga umpisa sa healthy kag nutritious nga pagkaon. Padayon kita para sa mas Healthy nga syudad sang Iloilo.

I recently visited several Barangays within Iloilo City to engage in discussions regarding the upcoming Pride Pyesta event. During my visit, I took the opportunity to convey my heartfelt congratulations to the newly appointed district officers for their recent appointments. I also took a moment to commend and applaud the five new officers for stepping up to serve our community.

Your unwavering guidance has played a crucial role in steering us towards success. We sincerely appreciate your unwavering faith in our capabilities and steadfast dedication to our development. In 2019, I played a significant role in establishing the Office of LGBTQ Affairs.

USGWAPS: LIBRE GUPIT PARA SA GWAPO KAG GWAPA NGA MGA ILONGGO

Kalipay kag aton gid ginapabugal ang aton nga Programa nga USGWAPS: Libreng serbisyo para sa mga Ilonggo. Nag kadto ako kaupod ang Office of the LGBTQ+ affairs kag sang BLUE Angels sa Barangay CALUMPANG para mag hatag sang libre sebirsyo Gupit, Manicure, Pedicure, kag Feeding program para sa mga kabataan kag pumuluyo sang ini nga barabgay.

We take great pride in providing complimentary services at Brgy. Calumpang with Punong Barangay Lolit Maprangala, empowering everyone to embrace their authenticity and feel their very best.

FOOD SAFETY MANIA AT UP VISAYAS

I participated in the Food Safety Mania event at UP Visayas, where we highlighted the significance of being prepared for unforeseen circumstances.

We also acknowledge the invaluable contribution of the University of the Philippines Visayas' School of Technology Department in developing a comprehensive food safety manual tailored to the needs of the Ilonggo community.

In light of Iloilo City's esteemed recognition by UNESCO as the Creative City of Gastronomy, it is imperative that we uphold the highest standards of food safety to safeguard the well-being of our consumers and tourists. Our commitment to ensuring the quality and safety of our local cuisine and delicacies is our priority.

By providing basic food handling training to all food establishments, including our ambulant vendors, market vendors, and carinderia owners, we are taking a significant step towards enhancing food safety practices across the city. This initiative not only protects the health of our citizens but also enhances the reputation of Iloilo City as the only Creative City of Gastronomy in the Philippines, where food is not only good but also safe.

Together, let us continue to prioritize the health and safety of our community members while preserving the rich culinary heritage that makes Iloilo City truly world class.

Kag ang aton nga pagbaton kag pagpalangga sa ila gina paagi naton sa paghatag sang mga Livelihood Programs kag Trainings nga sigurado makabulig gid sa ila. Nagin kaupod man kita sa pagdihon sang mga programa kag proyekto nga dako gid ang mabulig sa ila tagsa ka kabuhi. Aton ginasiguardo nga kaupod naton ang mga nagkalain lain nga sektor sa aton padayon nga Pag-USWAG!
