That’s not bitterness — it’s peace. There comes a point in your healing where you stop chasing closure from people who were never honest, kind, or accountable to begin with. You stop explaining yourself, stop defending your truth, and stop trying to make others see what they’ve already decided to ignore.

When you’ve done nothing wrong, silence is not guilt — it’s freedom. You realize that anyone who can walk away without clarity or compassion was never truly invested in understanding you in the first place. Narcissists, manipulators, and emotionally immature people will twist your integrity into arrogance, your boundaries into cruelty, and your self-respect into disrespect. But that’s their projection — not your truth.
