Yesterday || The Municipal Agriculture Office joined the Professional Enhancement and Team Building Activity /Year-End Party of the Local Government Unit of San Rafael, with the theme:
“Light the Season Within: A Christmas of Mind, Heart, and Team Spirit”

GOOD NEWS FOR SAN RAFAEL FARMERS!

The Municipality of San Rafael has officially received 1 unit Multirole Tractor from the Department of Agriculture – Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (DA-PhilMech).

This support strengthens our agricultural mechanization efforts and will greatly help our farmers increase productivity, reduce labor cost, and improve farm operations.

Thank you, DA-PhilMech, for your continued support to our local farmers and to the advancement of agriculture in San Rafael!

The Municipal Agriculture Office successfully conducted its Capability Training and Year-End Assessment at Boracay Island.
The activity aimed to enhance staff competencies, review annual accomplishments, and strengthen planning strategies for a brighter year ahead. It also included a short leisure side trip to boost self-esteem and serve as a reward for the employees’ hard work and dedication throughout the year.

To All Farmers of the Municipality of San Rafael

Please be informed that the cut-off date for the submission of applications for the Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC) – Crop Insurance for the 2nd Cropping will be on November 15, 2025.

All interested farmers are advised to submit their requirements before the said date to ensure coverage for their crops. Late submissions will not be accepted. Thank you.

As we prepare for the approaching typhoon, the Municipal Agriculture Office /Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) urges everyone to take necessary precautions to ensure safety and protect our livelihood.

👨‍🌾 For our farmers:

Secure your farm animals and move them to higher and safer ground.

Harvest matured crops early if possible to avoid damage.

Properly store farm tools, seeds, and fertilizers in a dry and safe place.

Check and strengthen farm structures such as sheds, dryers, and storage areas.

🏠 For all households:

Stay updated with official weather advisories and local announcements.

Prepare emergency supplies — food, water, flashlights, batteries, and first-aid kits.

Keep communication lines open and coordinate with your barangay officials for assistance.

Evacuate early if you are in flood-prone or landslide-prone areas.

Let us all remain calm, alert, and united.
