On 02 June 2026, the 604th Community Defense Center, 6RCDG, RESCOM, Philippine Army, under the leadership of COL MICHAEL N ASUNCION, CE (GSC) PA, joined Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Jaro I Elementary School, Jaro, Iloilo City.
Led by Pvt Mary Claire Joy C Odronia PA (Res), a reservist and Government Internship Program (GIP) personnel of DOLE assigned to the Center, the team of enlisted reservists actively participated in cleaning, repair, and maintenance activities to help prepare the school for the opening of classes.
More than accomplishing its mission, the 604th CDC remains committed to developing future leaders of the Reserve Force by empowering reservists through meaningful community engagement and service.

604th CDC, 6RCDG, RESCOM, PA PARTICIPATES IN BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026 KICK-OFF CEREMONY
On 310900H May 2026, COL MICHAEL N ASUNCION CE (GSC) PA, Director, 604th (ILO) Community Defense Center (CDC), 6RCDG, RESCOM, PA, together with nineteen (19) enlisted reservists from Headquarters Company, 604th Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (RRIBn), participated in the Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick-Off Ceremony held at Hibao-an Sur Integrated School, Brgy. Hibao-an Sur, Mandurriao, Iloilo City.
The activity, spearheaded by Ms. Rosemarie E. Canja, Brigada Eskwela Coordinator, brought together education officials, school personnel, parents, and stakeholders in support of the Department of Educationโs annual school maintenance program. The activity aimed to prepare school facilities and ensure a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for students in anticipation of the opening of classes for School Year 2026โ2027.
The participation of the 604th CDC highlights the Philippine Army Reserve Forceโs commitment to community service, nation-building, and the strengthening of civil-military relations through meaningful engagement in educational and community development initiatives.

604TH CDC JOINS BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026 IN OTON
On 29 May 2026, the 604th Community Defense Center (CDC), 6th Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command, Philippine Army, actively participated in the Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Oton Elementary School, Oton, Iloilo.
The activity was spearheaded by MAJ EDMUND M MIRASOL PA (RESERVE), Public Schools District Supervisor of Oton District and Alpha Company Commander, in coordination with Ms. Rita S. Caigoy, Principal III of Oton Elementary School.
In support of the Department of Educationโs initiative to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment for students, SSg Cherrylan Lacida (Inf) PA, Cadre of Alpha Company, 604th RRIBn, together with 2LT MIGAR PA (RES) and 15 volunteer reservists, rendered manpower assistance by repairing school roofs and conducting campus clean-up activities in preparation for the opening of classes.
This collaborative effort highlights the Philippine Army Reservistsโ unwavering commitment to community service and nation-building through active participation in programs that promote education and public welfare.

A Monumental Achievement in Service: Graduation of BCMT 01-2025
27 April 2025, we witnessed a significant milestone in the journey of public service and national defense. The esteemed graduates of the Basic Citizen Military Training (BCMT) 01-2025 were formally awarded their serial numbers, marking the completion of their rigorous training at Camp General Adriano Hernandez, Di**le, Iloilo, held from October 11, 2025, to November 24, 2025.
These dedicated citizens have shown unparalleled commitment to the ideals of discipline, service, and patriotism, and today, we honor their accomplishments.
