The ceremony signifies his formal assumption to office and underscores the continuing commitment to ensure honest, orderly, and credible elections in the municipality.

Sa ilalim ng Republic Act 12232, ang mga elected Barangay Officials at Sangguniang Kabataan ay maglilingkod na ng 4 na taon.

🗳️ 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀: 4-year term, hindi hihigit sa 3 consecutive terms sa parehong posisyon.
🗳️ 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻: 4-year term, 1 term lamang sa parehong posisyon.

𝗡𝗢 𝗙𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗧𝗛 𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗠 𝗜𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: Ang mga incumbent Barangay officials na kasalukuyang nasa ikatlong consecutive term ay hindi na maaaring tumakbo para sa parehong posisyon sa BSKE 2026.

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC), through its Vulnerable Sectors Office (VSO), joins in the celebration of Grandparents' Week, recognizing and honoring our lolos and lolas for the important role that they play in society.

As we prepare for the 02 November 2026 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections, we encourage our lolos and lolas to continue making their voices heard. Their votes remain a powerful guide in choosing leaders who will serve our barangays with integrity and genuine care for the community.

We also remind everyone that the voter registration is ongoing! We encourage eligible voters, especially our lolos and lolas, to register or update their registration records at their local COMELEC office until 18 May 2026, from 8AM to 5PM. You may also register at the Register Anywhere Program (RAP) or Satellite Registration sites. Take part in the upcoming elections!
