๐จ๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง, emphasized that the activity aimed to strengthen institutional capacity for ETEEAP implementation while directly advancing the priority pillars of the CHED ACHIEVE Agenda, particularly A for Advanced and Accessible Lifelong Learning and I for Inclusive and Impact-Driven Internationalization.
The workshop was facilitated by ๐๐๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ซ๐ฎ๐๐๐ข๐ง ๐. ๐๐ฃ๐ข๐ก๐ข๐ฅ, ๐๐๐,๐๐๐,๐๐,๐๐๐, ๐ฆ๐๐ฆ๐๐๐ซ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ก๐ง๐ข๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐๐๐๐๐, who guided participating higher education institutions (HEIs) in strengthening their readiness for ETEEAP implementation and deputization. Discussions focused on policy guidelines, quality assurance mechanisms, curriculum mapping, assessment processes, portfolio evaluation, and best practices in institutionalizing flexible learning pathways for adult learners and working professionals.

These HEIs were identified among those in the Region prepared to apply for ETEEAP deputization after successfully meeting the requirements outlined in the readiness checklist. Their presentations demonstrated institutional commitment to expanding educational access and recognizing experiential learning as a valuable component of higher education.

He emphasized that ETEEAP will greatly benefit individuals who possess extensive professional experience, industry skills, and specialized training but were unable to earn their bachelorโs degrees due to financial, personal, or societal constraints. Dr. Muyong further stressed that through ETEEAP, higher education institutions become instrumental in transforming lives by opening opportunities for career advancement, lifelong learning, and professional growth.
In his closing message, ๐๐ซ. ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง ๐๐จ๐ก๐ง ๐. ๐๐จ๐๐ฅ๐๐ฌ, ๐๐จ-๐๐ก๐๐ข๐ซ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐โ๐ฌ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐๐, expressed appreciation to all participating HEIs for their active engagement and commitment to advancing ETEEAP implementation in the region. The activity focused on finalizing institutional preparations for ETEEAP deputization, strengthening understanding of policies and quality assurance mechanisms, and enhancing readiness in delivering flexible, inclusive, and learner-centered programs. It also served as a venue for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and reaffirmation of CHEDโs commitment to widening access to quality higher education for all Filipinos through innovative and alternative learning pathways.
