๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฒ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ | The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration Regional Office VI (OWWA RWO VI), through John Francis A. Solas, Family Welfare Officer (FWO) - Iloilo, Arlen Joy D. Gallego, Programs Clerk, and Joemel Pudadera, conducted an Orientation on OWWA Programs and Services, as well as a Financial Literacy Training, during a Pre-Migration Orientation Seminar (PMOS) with the Department of Migrant Workers Region VI at the 2nd Floor, New Legislative Building, Estancia, Iloilo.
The seminar focused on orienting participants about essential information precluding migration, discussing realities, challenges, and practical knowledge. Meanwhile, OWWA RWO VI personnel comprehensively discussed the various programs and services offered by OWWA, coupled with a financial literacy training crucial for soon-to-be Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs). The activity aimed to equip the participants with crucial knowledge on their welfare benefits and money management skills, preparing them for a more secure and informed migration journey.
Therefore, the PMOS served as a vital foundational step, empowering attendees with the necessary information and tools to navigate their overseas employment responsibly and maximize the support systems available to them and their families.
