Air Quality Update: Metro Iloilo Airshed (May 26, 2026)

Based on today’s ambient air quality monitoring conducted at the Garden of Love Monitoring Station in Iloilo City and the Pavia Monitoring Station in Pavia, air quality in both areas remains within the β€œGOOD” category of the Air Quality Index (AQI).

This indicates that pollutant concentrations are low and pose little to no health risk to the general public, including children, older persons, and individuals with respiratory or heart conditions. Residents and visitors may continue normal outdoor activities.

The Environmental Management Bureau Region VI continuously monitors ambient air quality to help safeguard public health and the environment. However, air quality conditions may still change depending on traffic volume, weather conditions, open burning, and other pollution sources.
