₱5 MILLION FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE SECURED FOR BANATE BLUE SWIMMING CRAB HATCHERY PROJECT 🦀

A significant milestone for the Municipality of Banate!

Through the support of the Iloilo Provincial Government led by Governor Arthur Defensor Jr., the Municipality of Banate has officially received ₱5 million in financial assistance for the establishment of the Banate Blue Swimming Crab Hatchery Project.

This funding will support the construction and initial development of the hatchery facility, a major step toward strengthening local blue swimming crab production, advancing sustainable fisheries practices, and creating more livelihood opportunities for our fisherfolk.

The project also serves as a strategic investment in sustaining “Kasag” — Banate’s One Town One Product (OTOP) — ensuring year-round production and a more stable supply to meet both local and market demand. Through this initiative, we continue to strengthen the foundation that keeps the Kasag Festival vibrant and meaningful every year.

Beyond fisheries development, this project reflects Banate’s long-term vision of becoming a center for sustainable aquaculture and tourism development, showcasing our rich coastal resources, local identity, and economic potential.

With this initiative, Banate moves closer toward:

The Banate National High School Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) warmly invites everyone to support the Bulig-Eskwela Donation Drive a meaningful initiative aimed at helping students in need prepare for the upcoming school year.

We are accepting the following donations:

👕 Pre-loved but still usable Junior High School uniforms
👖 Skirts and slacks in good condition
👟 Used but well-maintained shoes
🎒 School bags that are still serviceable

📍 Venue: Banate National High School Multi-Purpose Gym

🕗 Morning Session: 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM
🕜 Afternoon Session:** 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM

Donations may be dropped off at the Multi-Purpose Gym during the scheduled hours. Students who wish to avail of the donated items may also visit the venue on the distribution day.
