After a postponement last month, the Duterte-led Partido Demokratiko Pilipino–Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) is set to hold its Grand Rally and Motorcade in Iloilo City on Friday, April 25.

The event, expected to draw a crowd of supporters from across the city and nearby provinces, kicks off with a motorcade assembling at around 3:00 PM in Jaro Plaza.

The motorcade will culminate at the La Paz Public Plaza, where the grand rally will begin at 6:00 PM.

The rally was initially slated for March 1, but was postponed due to what PDP-Laban described as “conflicting national and local sortie schedules.”

To ensure smooth flow of traffic during the event, the city’s Traffic and Transportation Management Office has released a management plan, which will be implemented starting 1:00 PM on Friday.

The PDP-Laban slate is often referred to as the “Duter-Ten,” a reference to the ten candidates approved and supported by former president Rodrigo Duterte, who is now in the custody of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands. | Rjay Zuriaga Castor
