TOP 3 REGIONAL MOST WANTED PERSON FALLS IN ILOILO CITY

Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6) reported the service of warrants of arrest against a 29-year-old police personnel assigned in Iloilo City on the evening of June 3, 2026.

The operation was carried out by the Iloilo City Mobile Force Company (ICMFC), with support from other police units, pursuant to warrants issued by a Regional Trial Court in Iloilo City in connection with separate criminal cases involving allegations of statutory r**e and violations of Republic Act No. 11930, or the Anti-Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children and Anti-Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials Act.

Authorities said the police personnel voluntarily surrendered to his unit commander and was subsequently placed under police custody.

PRO6 Acting Regional Director, PBGEN Randulf T. Tuaño, emphasized that the Philippine National Police will continue to uphold accountability within its ranks.

“Walang puwang sa organisasyon ang sinumang lalabag sa batas. Ang pagiging miyembro ng PNP ay hindi kailanman magiging hadlang sa pagpapatupad ng hustisya. We will always hold our personnel to the highest standards of conduct and professionalism,” ani PBGEN Randulf T. Tuaño, Acting Regional Director, PRO6.

He stressed that the action taken demonstrates the organization’s commitment to integrity and the rule of law.

“Kapag may legal na proseso na kailangang ipatupad, gagawin natin ito nang patas at walang kinikilingan. Our duty is to protect the public, uphold the law, and preserve trust in our institutions. Accountability starts from within,” he added.

PRO6 assured the public that due process will be observed as the cases proceed before the courts, while reiterating its commitment to ensuring that all police operations are conducted lawfully, professionally, and with respect for human rights.

PRO6 SEIZES NEARLY ₱1-M SHABU; HVI FALLS IN ILOILO CITY

A High-Value Individual (HVI) was arrested in a successful anti-illegal drug operation conducted by the Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) in Barangay Lanit, Jaro, Iloilo City on June 3, 2026.

The suspect, identified as alias “Banjie,” 50 years old, was arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted by the ICPO City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU), with support from other operating units.

Recovered from the suspect were approximately 140 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated Standard Drug Price (SDP) of ₱952,000, along with the buy-bust money and other pieces of evidence. The confiscated items will be submitted for forensic examination while appropriate charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared against the suspect.

Police Brigadier General Randulf T. Tuaño, Acting Regional Director of Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6), lauded the operating units for the successful operation and reaffirmed PRO6’s sustained campaign against illegal drugs.

“This accomplishment shows the dedication and teamwork of our operatives in carrying out lawful, intelligence-driven operations. Tuloy-tuloy po ang ating kampanya laban sa ilegal na droga, at tinitiyak namin sa publiko na ang bawat operasyon ay isinasagawa nang may propesyonalismo, integridad, at paggalang sa karapatang pantao,” ani PBGEN Randulf T. Tuaño, Acting Regional Director, PRO6.

The Acting Regional Director further emphasized that the operation reflects PRO6’s commitment to Responsive, Trusted, and Transformative Policing for a Safer Western Visayas through professional, community-oriented, and service-driven policing initiatives aligned with the PNP Focus Agenda and the vision of “Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman” under the leadership of PNP Chief, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr.

PRO6 also encouraged the public to continue supporting law enforcement efforts by reporting illegal activities to help maintain peace and safety in Western Visayas.

‎IPPO SEIZES PHP15.8 MILLION IN 'SHABU' IN MAY 2026 OPS

‎From May 1 to 31, 2026, the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO), under the leadership of PCOL Bayani M Razalan, Provincial Director, sustained its intensified campaign against illegal drugs. A total of 37 anti-illegal drug operations were conducted provincewide, targeting drug personalities in both urban and rural areas of Iloilo.

‎The series of operations resulted in the arrest of 44 individuals involved in the illegal drug trade. Among those neutralized were 14 High Value Individuals, considered as major sources and distributors, and 31 Street Level Individuals who were directly engaged in the selling and distribution of illegal drugs to end users.

‎As a result of these focused police interventions, IPPO operatives confiscated around 2,335 grams of suspected 'shabu'. Based on the current Standard Drug Price, the seized illegal drug have an estimated value of Php 15,878,000.00.

‎IPPO recognizes the top performing units for drug seizures for the month of May. Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) ranked first with 1,201 grams of suspected shabu seized worth P8,169,815; Estancia MPS ranked second with 254 grams worth P1,727,200; Di**le and Dumangas MPSs tied for third place with 150 grams worth P1,020,000.
