In observance of the Lenten season and to provide government employees full opportunity to travel to their respective provinces for Holy Week, the Office of the President issues Memorandum Circular No. 116 with the following guidelines for Wednesday, April 1, 2026:

𝘔𝘖𝘙𝘕𝘐𝘕𝘎 (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM): Work in government offices shall be maintained under a Work-From-Home (WFH) scheme.

𝘈𝘍𝘛𝘌𝘙𝘕𝘖𝘖𝘕 (12:00 PM Onwards): Work in all government offices is officially suspended.

However, agencies whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services shall continue with their operations and render the necessary services.

The public is advised to coordinate with respective agencies for any urgent frontline transactions prior to the scheduled suspension.

The Iloilo City Government warmly invites everyone to the blessing and inauguration of the Iloilo City Action and Resilience (ICARE) Center at Bankers Village IV, Brgy. Tabuc Suba, Jaro, at 8:30 a.m. on April 1, 2026.

This new ICARE Center will serve as a vital hub for emergency response and public safety, housing the Jaro Police Station 3, Bureau of Fire Protection, and the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.
